THE GAMECOCK CLUB The Gamecock Club, established in 1940, provides financial support to the student-athletes representing the University of South Carolina. This aid is in the form of tuition fees, meal costs, housing costs, medical costs, injury assistance, and other educational needs. In the 2013-14 fiscal year the Gamecock Club raised $14.5 million in revenue, providing scholarships to 400 student-athletes. Gamecock Club membership is open to all alumni and friends of the University. More than 18,000 South Carolina fans donate to the Athletics Department through annual Gamecock Club memberships. The Gamecock Club is located on the first floor of the Rice Athletics Center at 1304 Heyward Street in Columbia, SC and online at GamecocksOnline.com/GamecockClub. Regular business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Walk-up sales and will call are available at the Rice Athletics Center or the Colonial Life Arena (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.), and at the respective venues on game days. SEAT ASSIGNMENT All season tickets are assigned by giving level and then by priority points within each giving level. Away games and postseason tickets are assigned by priority point total. Please note, donors choosing to contribute at a lower giving level may have their season tickets reassigned. PARKING ASSIGNMENT All season parking is assigned by priority point total. Parking locations may be evaluated annually. SEAT & PARKING RELOCATION Donors wishing to request Dawn Staley a change in their football Head Women’s Basketball Coach seating and/or parking or men’s basketball seating have the option to select new locations online during the respective seat/parking selection process. Donors may also submit their requests on the appropriate request forms if they do not wish to participate in the online seat selection process. Donors wishing to request a change in their women’s basketball seating or baseball seating and/or parking should note their requests on the appropriate request form. The South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office works to accommodate as many requests as possible following the ticket renewal deadline for each sport. PRIORITY POINTS & SEASON TICKET RANKINGS In an effort to equitably serve Gamecock Club members, a priority point system was developed to determine rankings for season ticket assignments, away and postseason game ticket distribution, parking pass assignments, and other special events. The current system was voted on and approved by the Gamecock Club Board of Directors on November 3, 2006 and amended January 24, 2014. Point Accumulation Effective January 1, 2007, Gamecock Club members receive: • One (1) point for every $100 donated to the Gamecock Club • One (1) point for every $100 donated to an individual sport • One (1) point for every $100 donated to the Garnet Way Capital Campaign • One (1) point for each season ticket purchased for football, baseball, men’s basketball and women’s basketball • Two (2) points for each consecutive year a donation is made to the Gamecock Club. Points are not awarded for postseason ticket purchases Season Ticket Ranking For the assignment of season tickets, Gamecock Club members are ranked first by membership level and then by priority points within each specified level. The chart below displays the number of members at each giving level as of October 9, 2014. Fans must be a 2015 Gamecock Club member to be eligible to purchase season tickets and parking and participate in the selection processes. Members may find their selection dates and times printed on their football renewal applications. Gamecock Club members who have not filled their full ticket limit will be assigned a second selection date. Please note, football seat selection times are assigned by giving level and then priority points within each level, while parking selection times are based solely upon priority point total. Information regarding 2015 football seat and parking selections may be found online at GamecocksOnline.com/Tickets. Members who do not wish to make selections online may complete and return the Football Season Ticket or Parking Request Form by the May 8 renewal deadline and are agreeing to forgo their online selections by doing so. Postseason Ticket Information Football postseason ticket information is distributed following the team’s sixth win. It is important for members to submit postseason ticket requests by the announced deadline to ensure tickets are assigned based on Gamecock Club priority points. Members are also reminded to request tickets for all postseason games they are interested in attending. Charges are only processed for the game in which South Carolina is selected to participate. The ticket request deadline is also the deadline for additional giving to affect seat location. 7 The priority limits for football away games apply to both regular season away games and postseason competitions (SEC Championship and bowl games). Tickets requested outside of these limits will be filled based on availability after priority assignments. Seats in sections 104-106 and 113-115 are available exclusively to Gamecock Club members. Season ticket holders at the Golden Spur, Platinum Spur, and Diamond Spur levels also have access to the McGuire Club, featuring buffet-style catering prior to tip off and light refreshments at halftime, along with a cash bar. Seat selection for the 2015-16 men’s basketball season will take place in the fall 2015. Fans must renew their basketball season tickets or have paid a season ticket deposit in order to participate in the seat selection process. Members will receive their selection date and time in September. Additional information regarding 2015-16 seat selection may be found online at GamecocksOnline.com/Tickets. All other season tickets are general admission seating. Seating in sections 105 and 114 require a Gamecock Club membership. To request changes in reserved season ticket locations for women’s basketball, please complete and return the Women’s Basketball Season Ticket Request Form to the South Carolina Athletics Ticket Office by the September 18 renewal deadline. MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL PARKING For this season, men’s and women’s basketball season parking passes will be sold for $100 each, based on availability and priority. Limit one (1) parking pass per account holder; men’s and women’s passes sold separately. Season parking passes are also valid for postseason games at Colonial Life Arena. Charges may apply for lost or misplaced parking passes. General game day parking in University-controlled lots is $5 per vehicle. Parking assignments and locations may be evaluated annually. MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL POSTSEASON TICKETS Ticket information for the 2016 Men’s and Women’s SEC Tournaments will be available in September 2015. Season ticket holders should check their online accounts for more details at that time. If the Gamecocks advance to postseason play, all other Gamecock Club members will receive an email with tournament ticket information. All ticket requests will be filled based on Gamecock Club priority points. The ticket request deadline for the SEC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments is February 5. Season ticket holders requesting changes in seat location should note specific requests on the Baseball Season Ticket Request Form, which must be submitted to the ticket office by December 11. South Carolina-Clemson Reedy River Rivalry During the 2016 season, the Gamecocks and the Clemson Tigers will play a neutral-site game at Fluor Field in Greenville, SC. Ticket information will be available online exclusively to season ticket holders in November 2015. If available, remaining tickets will go on sale to all other Gamecock Club members at a later date. Parking South Carolina Athletics works closely with the businesses surrounding Carolina Stadium to accommodate all fans with game day parking. A parking map is available for reference at GamecocksOnline.com/Parking. Parking locations may be evaluated annually. Season parking passes for Gamecock Baseball are assigned based on Gamecock Club priority points. December 11 is the deadline for additional giving to affect parking locations. Existing pass holders should request changes in their parking space location on the Baseball Parking Request Form. For this season each baseball season ticket holder is eligible to purchase one (1) pass per every four (4) season tickets purchased. Charges may apply for lost or misplaced parking passes. Parking assignments and locations may be reassigned and evaluated annually. Postseason Tickets Baseball postseason ticket information is posted online and distributed via email as Regional host sites are announced in May and as teams advance in the tournament. Current baseball season ticket holders will be invoiced online in April for their season seats for potential home postseason play. Payment is due in May. Please note, the availability of premium seating at Williams-Brice Stadium is limited. SUITES A total of 20 suites located on the west side of the stadium offer suite holders the luxury of enjoying the game with indoor, covered seating and private restrooms. Each suite features sliding windows, lounge seating, television monitors, a sink and refrigerator. Catering service is available at an additional charge. Champions Club North & South Champions Club North and South are the newest and most exclusive premium seating areas at Williams-Brice Stadium. Located on both ends of the 200 level on the west side, the Champions Clubs feature outdoor, covered seating; oversized cushioned seating with cup holders; large outdoor television monitors; a plush indoor club with comfortable seating; private restrooms; views of the game from the indoor club lounge; pregame and halftime gourmet catering; and a cash bar. 200 Executive Club Located on the 200 level between the 15-yard lines, the 200 Executive Club offers outdoor, covered seating; an indoor lounge; gourmet food; television monitors; and individual lockers for storing beverages and personal belongings. 600 Executive Club The 600 Executive Club is located on the west side of the stadium directly beneath the press box. Featuring indoor, climate-controlled seating with sliding windows, the 600 Executive Club also offers seat holders an indoor lounge, private restrooms, gourmet catering, television monitors, and individual lockers for storing beverages and personal belongings. The Zone The Zone is the largest premium seating area at Williams-Brice Stadium, spanning the south end zone between the lower and upper levels. Renovated in 2014, Zone seat holders enjoy outdoor, covered seating; an indoor lounge with private restrooms; television monitors; pregame and halftime catering; and individual lockers for storing beverages and personal belongings. 15 BASKETBALL The Gamecock Club offers two premium seating options at Colonial Life Arena. Suites Colonial Life Arena features 41 recently renovated suites, each with seating for 12-16, located on the concourse level throughout the arena. The suites offer an indoor lounge, open-air seating, private restroom, television monitors, a sink and refrigerator. Catering service is available at an additional charge. Founders Club Founders Club seating includes courtside and select lower bowl seating in sections 104-106 and 113115. Season ticket holders can enjoy access the McGuire Club pregame and at halftime, featuring a gourmet buffet, cash bar, private restrooms, television monitors, and lounge seating. Founders Club seats are available to Gamecock Club members at the Silver Spur level and above. McGuire Club McGuire Club access is available exclusively to season ticket holders at the Golden Spur level and above, as well as Founders Club season ticket holders. The McGuire Club is open pregame and at halftime and features a gourmet buffet, cash bar, private restrooms, television monitors, and lounge seating. BASEBALL Three premium seating areas are available at Carolina Stadium, exclusively to Gamecock Club members at the Silver Spur level and above. Please note the availability of premium seating at Carolina Stadium is limited. Suites Located on the Press Box level between first and third base, each suite offers 10 outdoor seats and four indoor seats, plus two standing room only tickets. Amenities include outdoor, covered seating; indoor lounge; television monitors; private restrooms; refrigerator and bar area; and two stadium parking passes. Catering service is available at an additional charge. First and Third Base Clubs The First and Third Base Clubs accommodate seating for 128 and are located on the Press Box level. Each club offers ticket holders outdoor, covered seating; indoor lounge; buffet-style catering; cash bar; television monitors; and an opportunity to purchase stadium parking (based on availability). The Perch Located on the Press Box level down the first base line, the Perch offers outdoor seating for 150 overlooking the concourse, access to buffet-style catering, cash bar, and indoor lounge. Season ticket holders also have the opportunity to purchase stadium parking (based on availability). 16 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Is my contribution to the Gamecock Club tax-deductible? A: Yes. The Internal Revenue Service allows a full deduction if there is no tangible or intangible benefit to the donor. If a benefit is received, such as tickets, an 80 percent deduction may be allowed. Please consult your tax adviser for further information. Q: Is my donation to the Gamecock Club refundable? A: No. Donations received are used to provide scholarships for student-athletes. Q: May I pay for someone else’s membership? A: If you are establishing a membership as a gift, you may pay for it for one year only. Parents are allowed to pay for a child’s membership until the child reaches 22 years of age. Q: May matching gifts be applied to Gamecock Club donations? A: Yes, the Gamecock Club accepts matching gift donations. Please ask your benefits administrator if your company offers a matching gift program. Visit GamecocksOnline.com/ GamecockClub for information about submitting a matching gift. Matching gifts cannot be used for seat donations. Q: Will my tickets and/or parking be affected if I lower my giving level? A: Yes. Members choosing to contribute at a lower level may have their tickets reassigned. If the number of season tickets decreases, members must also adhere to parking pass limitations set (one pass per every four season tickets). Q: May I transfer my season tickets to another account? A: No. To ensure all tickets are fairly assigned based on Gamecock Club giving levels and points, tickets may not be transferred. If a member chooses not to renew season tickets, those tickets will be returned as available inventory and shown as open seats during the football or men’s basketball seat selection process or during women’s basketball or baseball assignments. Q: May I post my tickets for sale on Ticketmaster Exchange or forward my tickets to someone else if I am on a payment plan?
