What is it?
Classic Design (4 buckle) skiboots incorporate (1) a lower shell with overlapping
flanges that “volume adjust” to different feet shapes and (2) an upper cuff which
secures the the lower leg and ankle inside the ski boot. Classic Overlap ski boots
represent the most common ski boot design architecture.

CONTOUR 4 FIT CONCEPT
HOW DOES IT FUNCTION?
The anatomical contours of the inside sidewalls of the boot-shell, as well as the innerboot lasts, are precisely “mapped” to the shape
of the typical high performance skier’s foot. A little extra “space” is molded into the inside of the boot shell at 4 critical fit points:
ankle, heel, 5th metatarsal, & navicular. Out of the box, Contour 4 Technology boots delivers all the comfort, precision, and control
of a close fitting, low volume, high performance ski boots that have been “punched” and/or “stretched” by a custom bootfitter...with
minimal need for “punching” or “stretching”. High performance has never felt so comfortable.

WHAT IS IT?
Contour 4 Technology is a revolutionary technological advance
in performance ski boot fitting. It is a engineered construction
technology that precisely aligns the internal boot-shell shape and
innerboot contours with the anatomical contours of the foot and
ankle. Contour 4 Technology is featured in all 2012/2013 krypton,
Scorpion, Viper, and Mantis models for men and women.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
Contour 4 Technology models fit a wide variety of feet shapes. ‘4”
pre-formed “contours” in the bootshell provide additional space
for protruding ankle bones, navicular bones, and metatarsal
bones. The out-of-the-box fit is close, precise, and comfortable
with minimal need for custom fitting boot-shell modifications.
