compromising the quality of our products.
US code compliance
Our products sold in the US market are made in compliance
with the requirements of applicable standards. They are
regularly tested by independent laboratories so as to
guarantee our customers ongoing compliance. THG works
with the NSF and IAPMO labs to ensure compliance with
standards NSF 61s9, ASME A112.18.1-2005/CSA B125.1-05
and CA law AB 1953.
Standardization characteristics
To guarantee that our products comply with applicable US
standards, they are tested for a number of criteria: water
flow, comfort, wear and compliance in terms of drinking
water distribution.
Water flow
This is the maximum flow rate for running water. This
characteristic is measured by calculating the water flow
per minute. This measurement is expressed in gallons per
minute (gpm). For washbasin and sink faucets, the default
standard corresponds to 2.2 gpm and for showerheads,
it is 2.5 gpm. On request, THG can also supply products
compliant with water saving standards as defined by the
WaterSense label which calls for a maximum flow rate of
1.5 gpm.
Compliance in terms of drinking water distribution
So as to comply with CA law AB 1953 applicable in the State
of California, which regulates the use of lead, we use leadfree brass to make our faucets destined for the Californian
market. To further our quest for compliance, we have
decided to eliminate the use of lead in all of our faucets
destined for the US market.
So as to guarantee our customers that our products are made
in line with applicable standards, we have set up a Department
within THG to ensure ongoing compliance with these standards.
Finishing only in chrome or nickel
All the products illustrated in this catalogue are offered in chrome (A02)
or nickel (B01), except for Pure range only available in chrome. All the lines
shown in this brochure are available in other finishes-18 standard colors.
For any further information regarding our various finishes, please have a
look at the general THG catalogue. However, please note that because of the
variety of its plating finishes, the manufacturing leadtime may on occasions
be extended by a few weeks.

THG is world renown for creating some

fixtures and hardware ever imagined. Our passion
for meticulously crafting the finest materials into
works of art carries over into everything we do.
Bath & Art de Vivre, “art to live,” has deep meaning and
conviction beyond the end product that we produce; we
consider it our responsibility to take action in order to reduce
the environmental impact our activities might have.
Environmental Management System:
Over 10 years ago, THG began the processes of updating
our manufacturing facilities and management guidelines while
implementing and applying the following environmental policies:
- Observe prevailing environmental laws
- Stay focused on the action of reducing the environmental
impact of the company’s activities in everything that we do
- Maintain an ecological approach to the conception of new
product development and expansion
Our factory and facilities reflect
THG’s commitment today
and well into the future:
- New facility adding 35,000 sq. ft. constructed in accordance
with RT 2500 standards (Thermal Regulation) utilizing
architectural designs, engineering and materials to minimize
energy consumption.
- High efficiency lighting installed in 48,000 sq. ft. of facility
and power grid management system allows for a reduction
of more than 50 percent of electric consumption via Gradual
Power Supply Technology.
- Solar Energy and a 19,000 sq.ft. photovoltaic
plant add to THG’s list of sustainable
development actions taken to harness
renewable resources. This is achieved by
taking advantage of the building’s elongated
roof surfaces. The production of electricity is
achieved in a silent, autonomous manner that is
greenhouse-gas-emission free and non-polluting.
THG has entered into a partnership agreement on
energy consumption reduction with ADEME, an agency for
sustainable energy and environmental development located
in France.
- Reclamation and Non-Hazardous Industrial Waste is achieved
with the latest techniques and treatment procedures such
as: the plating of finishes with zero water waste; relying on
a drastic reduction of chemical product consumption while
maximizing water recycling. (This process reduces water
consumption by 80 percent). Air quality is maintained by
capturing carbon emissions and “cleaning” of emitted gases
created during manufacturing. In addition, once industrial
water is used, it is collected and treated in our own plant and
recycled back into the closed loop circulation system.
- Recycling is achieved across all levels of operation at THG. In
the manufacturing process, recycling is done in conjunction
with our metal suppliers. Brass is the quintessential recyclable
material and allows a 100 percent full cycle program. We
work extremely close with our vendors to be sure that the
raw material that we are working with meets our stringent
standards in terms of the perfect alloy compositions required
for our foundry and machining. THG also recycles all of its
other metals, including inox, aluminum, copper and others.
A full recycling program is in place throughout all facilities
to include generalized waste sorting of consumables,
plastics, cardboard, and organic matter. Waste collected is
transformed into other products through a third party.
- THG brings luxury, quality and peace of mind to our clients.
In doing so, we use lead-free brass in all of our products.
Water conservation is a standard amenity on all THG lav
faucets, shower heads and handshowers. These products are
equipped with code approved water restrictors that do not
hinder their performance.

Research, development and design Tooling
All our fittings and accessories are made
of 100% brass.
The best demonstration would be to hold a
THG product in one’s hand. Finish, assembly
and generosity of raw materials all speak
for themselves. Everything conspires to make
you believe that you are in the presence of an
exceptional product, and one that will remain
so through the years.
Foundry
The brass is cast around 900°C. The variety of the
equipment, both coring and moulding, makes possible
the creation of a large variety.
The quality of THG products is the result
of every aspect of THG company policy,
the essential points of which are as follows:
- More than 10 trades incorporated into the product.
Design, Research & Development, tooling, foundry,
machining, polishing, plating (environment friendly:
pollution-free), assembly…
- The alliance of a craft know-how with modern
equipment (polishing robots, N.C. drilling
and threading machines…)

- THG’s know-how is recognised throughout the world.
Machining
THG is equipped with the latest generation of numerical
control centres, but has nevertheless retained the knowhow and the people capable of creating products which
can satisfy the very different needs of our market.
Polishing
Each part of the faucet is carefully polished.
Plating workshop
While complying with the most constraining
environmental standards, we finish our products
according to the desires of our customers.
The chosen finishing is settled by electrolysis
on the faucet (or by varnishing for lacquers).
Assembly
All faucet parts are UV-glued.
Shipping
After final inspection, customer orders
are packed and then shipped around the world
by every conceivable means of transport.
A rigorous control is made at each step
of the manufacturing.

THG Warranty
THG warrants to the purchaser or homeowner all plumbing
and accessory products sold by THG USA, to be free from
manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. THG limits this warranty for a period of five years from the date of
delivery. THG warrants its products against mechanical failure
for a period of five years. Finishes are warranted for a period
of one year, with the exception of polished chrome, which is
warranted for five years. Any defects in finish will usually appear within the first weeks of use. Proof of purchase (original
sales receipt) from the original purchaser must accompany all
warranty claims.
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
If within the applicable warranty period the covered products
shall be proved to the satisfaction of THG to be defective,
THG will repair or replace such products, at its expense (provided that such repair or replacement shall not include installation costs). THG’s obligation shall be limited to such repair
and replacement and shall be conditioned upon THG’s receiving notice of any alleged defect within the applicable warranty
period. (Purchaser shall be responsible for all shipping charges
for returned products.)
LIMITATIONS ON WARRANTY COVERAGE
Warranties do not cover installation or any other labor charges,
and do not apply to:
• Products that have not been installed by a licensed plumbing
contractor;
• Products subject to normal wear and tear;
• Products which have been repaired, altered or modified in any
way by purchaser or any person, or not using THG service
parts;
• Products which have not been installed, used, maintained or
stored in accordance with the instructions provided to purchaser by THG USA;
• Products which have been used for purposes other than or in
a manner contrary to their intended and normal use; products that have been used outdoors;
• Products which have been damaged as a result of misuse,
negligence, freezing, accident or faulty installation or maintenance;
• Products damaged by the effects of dirt, foreign bodies carried by water (sand and debris), salt water air, hard water,
lime scale, or abrasive or aggressive cleaners;
• Products sold “as is” from dealer or showroom displays.
• Products purchased from any source other than a THG USA
authorized dealer/showroom, or purchased via the internet.
Care and Cleaning of Metal Faucets
and Fittings
THG recommends following the care and cleaning guidelines as
set forth by the DPHA (Decorative Plumbing & Hardware Association). Below is an overview of those guidelines; for complete instructions and product recommendations please refer
to the DPHA Care and Maintenance brochure.
For all finishes: to prevent water spots, wipe off water with
a clean, soft, damp cloth after each use. NEVER use an abrasive cleaning product, cleanser, ammonia-based cleaner, harsh
chemicals or bleach. Use a mild ph-neutral soap mixed with water for regular cleaning.
Uncoated polished finishes: includes polished chrome (A02),
polished nickel (B01), polished silver rhodium (F18), polished
luxbrass (D03), gold polished (F01), silver polished (D08), polished unlacquered brass (A01), polished black nickel (D24) a
mild metal polish can be used to remove light oxidation. Faucet
wax should be used after polishing to prevent oxidation.
Uncoated matt finishes: luxbrass matt (H16), luxbrass satin
(H12), luxbrass graveled (H13), nickel matt (C01), nickel satin
(C05), nickel graveled (C44), gold matt uncoated (F07), etc.
These finishes will oxidize and darken over time. To reduce oxidation, use a faucet wax on a regular basis.
Coated (lacquered) finishes: brass coated (C04), silver polished antique (H03), silver antique matt coated (H08), bronze
clear uncoated (D01), bronze matt coated (D05), red copper
polished coated (H01), red copper antique coated (H24), etc.
wax monthly with a faucet wax designed for use with lacquered
finishes.
Living finishes: bronze satiny (H27), oil rubbed bronze natural
(D21), oil rubbed bronze US (D10), etc. finishes will vary in
color and darkness, changing with time. “Renaissance Wax” can
be applied to uncoated oil rubbed bronze finishes to darken the
bronze and reduce wear on finish.
In addition, for a deep clean and to remove residual or corrosive markings we recommend a monthly application of the
following THG cleaning products:
Renov’rob: for use on chrome and nickel finishes. This wax and
organic soap based cleaner, applied and removed with a nonabrasive soft cloth, creates a protective wax-film which which
enables the fittings to be polished and produces a lasting brightness.
Brillor: for use on gold, luxbrass and satin finishes. This fattyacid soap and micro-granules of organic content, applied and
removed with a non-abrasive soft colth, creates a protective
wax film which enables the fittings to be polished and produces
a lasting brightness.
