In the Community
On top of giving back to customers and vendors, J. Kings is also active in giving back
to the Long Island Community we participate in many local charity events and donate to many
organizations that aid those in need in the Long Island community. Below are just a few
of the events J. Kings is involved in to improve the local community:
- A NNUAL GOLF OUTING Every year J. Kings donates its time and money to host an annual golf outing to raise money
for the Hospice Care Network Children’s Bereavement Program.
- THANKSGIVING BASKETS Thanksgiving is a very difficult time of year for some families. J. Kings makes this time a little brighter
by donating Thanksgiving baskets, with all the fixins’ to make a Thanksgiving meal
for local families in need.
- ISLAND HARVEST Every week, J. Kings donates its excess food inventory to Island Harvest, a local organization
that collects food from organizations and donates them to local soup kitchens.
- L ONG ISLAND RESTAURANT WEEK

HAMPTON 'S WEEK -
J. Kings is a proud sponsor of Long Island Restaurant Week and Hampton’s Restaurant week.
These two programs help local restaurants draw business during slower times of the year.
- AMERICAN CULINARY FOUNDATION J. Kings is a proud sponsor of the local chapter of The American Culinary Federation, the premier
professional chefs' organization in North America. ACF offers culinarians of all ages the opportunity
to further their career, as well as enhance their life.
