Message from the East
Brothers,
A historical moment occurred February 4th when seven BYKOTA Brothers made a visit to Boca-Delray Lodge #171 and retrieved the Traveling
Gavel. As memory recalled, the Gavel hasn’t adorned our Lodge Room
since 1992, but after reading the Gavel Log it was revealed it hasn’t been
here since 2005. The Traveling Gavel was created to promote fellowship
within District 32, and it’s time our District Brothers know where the
Gavel will be located for the rest of the year. Thanks to W:. Wayne
Thibeault, W:. John McIntosh, Tres. Joe Harvey, SS David Zamola, JD Jason Shott and JS Mitchell Lamb for making the trip. Needless to say the
Brothers from Boca-Delray challenged the take, and vowed to come and
get it! - - The BYKOTA Gavel Team will spread the cement of Brotherly
Love, and take it back!
Our Valentine’s Day Breakfast served a record 108 visitors. Three different Fire Departments, two Police Departments, the Widows Sons and
the Ashlars made the trip, plus our Sunday morning breakfast regulars
showed up in force. Many thanks to the Zemola Family for their creative
expertise in preparing the Lodge.
Remember, March 5th is Fellowship Day at the Renaissance Festival located at Quiet Waters Park. See SW Bill Comer for details.
Rumor has it... A Master Mason Proficiency will take place on 28th of
March, under direction of W:. Wayne Thibeault. It is believed that a last
minute line order switch may occur. This should be… Very interesting.
W:. Wayne Thibeault will present Masonic Education #5 on the proper
use of Ball Ballot, directly after the Master Mason Proficiency.
Monday, April 11 at our Stated Communication, we will hold an EA Degree to confer Messrs Frum and Jacoby together with two Garden Lodge
candidates.

Greetings Brethren,
This year seems to be flying by. Hard to believe it is March already. For those
who attended the Dunkin Cigars, I can safely say a good time was had by all.
We even had some Brothers from other lodges in the district join us for some
fun and fellowship.
Lodge work is about to pick up significantly as we anticipate an Entered Apprentice degree in April. For those that may be interested, there will be weekly
practices as we ensure the degree will be a memorable experience for all involved. If being on the degree team sounds appealing, let either myself or the
Worshipful Master know and we will find a spot on the team for you. For
newer Master Masons it is a great way to refresh your knowledge and to learn
much more about the craft. Not to mention that practices tend to be a great
time to relax with your Brothers. Hope to see you there.
