Dear Colleague,
We are excited to announce the 1st NYSORA Middle East International Symposium on
Regional Anesthesia, Pain and Perioperative Medicine. The Symposium will focus on
comprehensive review of new developments in anesthesiology, pain and perioperative
medicine. These subspecialties have dramatically transformed over the past several
years, necessitating updates in pharmacology, technique, practice protocols, as well as
indications and clinical considerations. The introduction of ultrasound in clinical practice
has made these subspecialties much more precise and intricate. Nerve blocks facilitate
pain management, fast tracking, promotion of early mobilization, decreased hospital stay
and reduce overall healthcare costs. Attending NYSORA’s 1st Middle East International
Symposium will help delegates stay up-to-date in the field by reviewing the new and
updated information in regional anesthesia, airway management, and beyond.
We look forward to seeing you in Abu Dhabi in 2015.
Sincerely,
Amar Salti, MD, Program Chair
Prof Admir Hadzic, Program co-Chair
