On offer are 80 bulls plus a select group of purebred Angus and commercial heifer calves. You are
welcome to come prior to sale day for viewing. We understand that many of you are just starting
your calving season, therefore, we offer the option of viewing the bulls prior to the sale, then using
our online bidding option OR calling one of the sale day phones to place your bids.
We’re happy to have Janice’s family join us again this year for our 2nd Annual Bull Sale. Poplar Bluff
doesn’t sell yearling bulls, therefore, they are bringing their top cut of 2 year old Charolais bulls that
have not been “picked over”. We would like to thank our buyers and bidders of our previous sale.
We sincerely hope all of our bulls have done well for you. We certainly appreciate your support in the
past and in the future.
Our focus... is on maintaining a solid foundation female consisting of high fertility, longevity and
milk production, which in turn produces bulls that last.
Our calves do NOT see any creep feed in the pastures during the summer and fall months. Our feeding program consists of primarily an oat ration to preserve the longevity in our cattle.

Our cows are strictly culled on feet, performance, disposition
and maternal traits. We look at the same criteria when selecting herd bulls for our own use.
We hand feed our bulls so they are used to people going
through the pens. They have been brought along gently with
their longevity in mind. The cows have to do it all when they
are out on pasture as we do not believe in creep feeding the
calves. The bulls are ready to go to work and fully guaranteed.
Customer satisfaction is our number one goal.

program. We welcome visitors to the farm to view the bulls
before the sale or to see the cows that raised them.

sires, 2012 was his 6th breeding season. We can’t say
enough about the females this guy has left us with – highly
fertile, heavy milking with quiet dispositions. The bulls have
been widely accepted for their low birth weights, performance and good dispositions. Last year, Sorento bred one
cycle for a customer who had bull troubles then came home
and bred another 40 cows for us.

Insurance
Ownership risk to purchaser commences when the Auctioneer’s hammer falls. Livestock coverage will be
available on sale day, from the sale management at any time.
