M•Gears Building Tips:
• Tire Assembly: (See Example 1, below.)
• Count out the pieces needed to build a section of the model before you start to build that section.
• Gears and crown gears come in multiple colors. The instructions show how many gears of each color to use when building a section. (Example 2, below
shows 2 black gears and 4 red gears.)
• When building with either a Y axle or a 6-way axle, note the direction of the pins. Pins only hold gears. They do not firmly connect pillars.
• When assembling pillars and axles that form an "H" shape, complete the long, parallel sides first. Then connect the sides to the middle section.
(See Example 3, below.)
• Frequently test the movement of gears while building models. If gears stop spinning, check all connections to make sure that they are tight.
• Meshing gears move in opposite directions. If gear motion locks, try removing a gear from the gear combination.
