This depends on several factors including the road conditions
you usually face, your style of driving and how your tires are
maintained. When the tire tread is worn down 1/16”, tires must
be replaced. Built-in tread-wear indicators, or “wear bars” which
look like narrow strips of smooth rubber across the tread, will
appear when it’s time to replace the tire. You may want to replace
your tires earlier if you drive in snow, rain or other unpredictable
conditions, or if you plan on traveling over rough roads.
