Aerostructures division concentrates on international aerostructure cooperation programs

Tradition of production for the aerospace industry goes back to the year 1952, when
the company was reoriented to the demanding aerospace production within the scope of

The tradition of the aviation production started forty years ago.The production focuses on
manufacturing and assembly of speed reducers and drive gearboxes of propeller engine sets,
including overhauls.
The Company delivers assemblies installed in Walter M601 engines and its modifications and
in a newly developed GEAC H80 Family engines.
Long experience and skills acquired in the production of aircraft components involved
manufacturing of straight toothing and oblique toothing of the modules of 1-7 mm, wheels of
planetary gearboxes, pinion shafts and gear rings.
The new high-performance equipment includes gear grinding machines having eight controlled
axes. The strengths of our company also include high-performance CNC machining of rotary and

Modernizations:
LOM PRAHA provides technological enhancements of airworthy capabilities. Various features
can be upgraded to improve ballistic protection, pilot interfaces, avionics, countermeasures
and communication. Our modernizations and upgrades proved to be 100% successful and
reliable during the ISAF mission. We constantly aim at improving our services and technological
capabilities.
MRO Program:
We overhaul and repair all components and parts of Mi-2/8/17/171/24/35 helicopters and L-39
aircraft including their respective aggregates. Besides using our own specialized and well
equipped facilities in the CZ, we are also capable to provide in-theater support during military
operations. We have all the necessary certificates, experience and knowledge to provide full
airframe and dynamic parts overhauls or maintenances.
Training:
With our own training center and aircraft fleet, we provide complex training and education to
all personnel related with operating and maintaining aerospace equipment. We offer various
levels of training – from basic to mission specific / combat for both rotary and fixed wing
aircraft. The courses are flexible, customized and certified. Training is lectured by
experienced ex-military professionals. Our unique Tactical Simulation Center provides
