Watch your preschooler’s eyes light up as they dig into a pile of
brightly-colored DUPLO bricks! Engaging models based on the
ABC’s are the building blocks of our Bricks 4 Kidz preschool curriculum. Each day children will build two simple models based
on the letters for that day, while practicing essential preschool
skills including letter recognition, patterning, colors, counting,

Capturing Canada (15 - 18 years)
For Canada Day, the Government of Canada has challenged
young artists to create representations of our country using digital photography, graphic design or written word. We are inviting
New Westminster youth to answer this challenge! You will receive
mentorship from professional artists to generate submissions for
this national contest. Explore interdisciplinary creation and learn
how to express your thoughts about the wonderful and often
complicated place we call home. National winners will receive an
all-expenses paid trip to Ottawa this summer. Could it be you?

This popular camp will focus on the fundamentals of the game.

a kitten (your ideas are welcomed) from Plaster of Paris! This
workshop also includes exploring different art mediums such
as charcoal and pastels, including two pottery projects: one to
celebrate ice cream and a spring themed sculpture, such as a
dragon, garden gnome (or Easter bunny!), to live in your garden!

Are detectives really scientists in disguise? It’s almost a crime how
much fun kids have while learning at Mad Science Secret Agent
Lab! Get into gear and learn what it takes to be successful in
the spy world. Analyze clues and get hot on the trail of a culprit.
Send secret messages on edible paper and decode messages.
Find finger prints and tire tracks and foot prints! Figure out the
science of forensics in this hands-on look at crime scenes, collect
evidence, test your skills and learn how the pros do it through
careful observation and techniques to handle evidence properly.

Kidz way! Campers are challenged to physically build and destroy a level from the popular game of Angry Birds. Set your birds
to flight by launching them on catapults and slingshots to destroy
pigs. Build a working launcher to create things to knock down.
Campers will have the ability to build different colored birds using LEGO Bricks, along with our proprietary model kits. Offered

Join professional actor, teacher and director Renee Bucciarelli for a week-long theatre intensive sure to tickle your funny
bone. Budding theatre enthusiasts explore Shakespeare’s zaniest slapstick comedy, develop new skills to strengthen academic
performance and meet other young people who share a passion
for the stage. Using theatre games, improvisation, clowning
techniques, stage combat, music, props and costumes, students
rehearse in an ensemble setting for a hilarious performance of
scenes from The Comedy of Errors, presented on the final day of
camp. No previous experience needed. Pack a lunch and come
dressed to move!
