: Transport
Participants are responsible for organising their own transport to Campinas for the start of Bonsucro Week, and from São Paulo at the end. All transport to and from site visits, and from Campinas to São Paulo on 28 October, are provided free of charge by Bonsucro. Connect with other participants using the Bonsucro Week Website & App (see below for more information) before arriving if you would like to arrange to share a taxi to or from the airport. Getting from São Paulo to Campinas:
• Campinas is located around 1 hour drive away from GRU airport. A taxi is usually around USD$80. • Alternatively, the best way to get to the hotel in Campinas from GRU airport is to take a bus from GRU to Rodoviária de Campinas (Campinas central Bus station). From there the hotel is located 10 minute taxi ride away. • The bus ticket can only be bought in person at the airport and costs USD10. The bus company Is Lira Bus, unfortunately its website is in Portuguese (http://www.lirabus.com.br/site/translados/). There will be many licensed taxis in Campinas Bus station to take the transfer to the hotel. Campinas-based Events

Otelo Zeloni, 96 -­‐ Granja Santa Maria, Granja Viana -­‐ São Paulo, Brazil 28 October (Wednesday), guests will depart on a Bonsucro-­‐provided bus (Departure -­‐ 8 AM from Melia Tryp Campinas Hotel, Campinas) to Granja Viana, where the Member & Stakeholder Consultation Day, and Certification Body Summit, will take place. At the conclusion of the Member Consultation Day, guests will be shuttled to the Hotel Grand Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera for the remainder of the week. Please note that all transportation to and from any activities that are part of the Bonsucro Week schedule are provided by Bonsucro and included in the Bonsucro Week Full Week ticket fee. different time. To see which group you are in, please see the list at the end of this pack. If your name is
not there and you have registered for Bonsucro Week after 20 October, you will be in Group B*
Group A: This group will visit São Manoel Mill in the
morning, followed by visiting Assobari in the
afternoon
• 6:00: Registration: Bus for Sao Manoel Mill (Group
A) departs at 6.15 sharp from Tryp Melia Hotel
Campinas. The hotel will start serving breakfast
for us at 5:45am.
• 9:30: Tour the beautiful São Manoel mill in central
São Paulo state and learn how the mill put
sustainability at the heart of their operations. The
morning will culminate with a panel discussion
with various stakeholders.

Temperatures in Sao Paulo averages around 18 -­‐ 28°C (64 – 82°F), and humidity hovers around 80% so cotton clothing is recommended. Also expected to rain heavily, a light water proof jacket and an umbrella is also recommended. This consent form governs participation in the site visits during Bonsucro Week 2015 (26-­‐29 October), including the visit to a sugarcane mill, sugarcane farms and research centres. All people participating in these site visits must complete and return this form to Bonsucro beforehand. Rules and Regulations 1. Due to the hazardous nature of the locations no heels, opened toed sandals or flip flops can be worn.
Appropriate footwear must be used at all time. Participants are also recommended to take precautions
to reduce the risk of sunburn through use of sun cream, and to use insect repellent to avoid insect
bites.
2. Long sleeved shirts and trousers must be worn at all times
3. Always stay with the group and follow instructions, please do not deviate from the group.
4. In order to accommodate your needs, please inform us of any disabilities, injuries and dietary
requirement’s which might be relevant to the tour.
5. Before the start of each visit, participants will be informed when photography is permitted.
