ABOUT OUR SPRING FOR WILDLIFE EVENING
Please read carefully so you won’t lose precious bidding moments and help this special,
very busy evening run smoothly and enjoyably!
DINING
Please find your table ASAP and put your meal card on your bread plate (on
the left)! This will expedite meal service. Please be seated by 8:00. You may continue
bidding during dinner!
BIDDER NUMBER
Your bidder number is on the label of your check-in envelope. Use it often and well for
bidding on all auction items. Make the very generous donors of these wonderful
auction items proud!
INFORMATION AREA
Purchase 50/50 tickets, buy & trade tricky tray tickets, shop for Woodlands specialty
items including our new book - Broke Leg Bear, and ask questions.
SILENT AUCTION
Each item has a bid sheet near it with an OPENING BID and MINIMUM INCREMENT.
At least these amounts must be adhered to for your bid to count. To bid, write in your
Buyer # and amount you wish to bid. Feel free to raise any bid higher than the minimum.
The Silent Auction will begin to close at 9:15 in intervals beginning with the “A” tables
and ending with the “C” tables. Enjoy our Gallery extension of the silent auction located
in the foyer!
When placing bids please remember that this is our most
important fundraiser and MORE IS BETTER!

Many kind and extremely individuals and businesses have donated items in support of
this event. Please thank them for their generosity toward Woodlands when you visit
their place of business. We greatly appreciate those items not listed in our program
that were received after printing deadline.

HEADS OR TAILS AUCTION
This is your chance to go home with a high end item for only $50! This year we are
auctioning off the newly released iPad3 Wi-Fi 32GB. See it on display table for details
Good luck! To participate, sign up with your Bidder # at the display, or see our roaming
iPad volunteers. You can pay them right away, or at check out. This auction requires
a minimum of 30 (last year 48 of you had fun!) players and will begin at 9:45.
TRICKY TRAY AUCTION
Our Tricky Tray Auction includes many items of great value to win for the price of a $5,
$10, $15 or $20 ticket. Tickets can be purchased and traded at the Information Area.
To bid, you must put your Bidder number on the ticket, and then drop your
ticket in the appropriate bag. Be sure to match ticket denomination with item bid
amount. You can increase your chances by dropping in as many bids as you want! One
winning ticket will be drawn from each bag. Tip: The bag color matches the ticket color/
denomination i.e. a purple $15 ticket = purple bag. Please take note of our special $20
items - Use pink bags and tickets!

Winner will be drawn at approximately 10:30.
CHECKING OUT
The winning bidder numbers for all auctions will be announced after all auctions are
closed. Enjoy the Heads or Tails Auction, music and dancing while waiting!
We know you may be anxious to get your treasures home but please give our
hard working auction committee time to properly tally, gather and organize
everyone’s purchases. Kindly wait until after the winners are announced to
claim your items.
PAYMENT
The preferred method is by cash or check made out to Woodlands Wildlife Refuge so
the full amounts of your generous purchases benefit Woodlands. We also accept Visa,
