GIRLS AND GUNS – Distant runner-up in sprint marred by spill; faltered in previous route attempts. e TALKIN’ HAILEY JO – Lost via disqualification in seemingly softer version of this spot; absent seven weeks. Race 2 DEBONAIRE MAN – Off for repairs for over year but faces soft opposition if ready; Dotolo barn recent longshot winner. FINAL RITUAL – Used up early against repeat winner and offers inside speed but stamina issues persist. BARBARY COAST – Stopped after quarter mile after arriving from West Coast but fitter now and hits bottom. WHIRLING DERVISH – Far behind despite heavy support in comeback but prior ability stamps contender. Race 6 SWAGGY – Strong showing at Saratoga when trying blinkers and draws favorably inside against state-breds. ZENSATIONAL MERRY – Nearly overcame eventful trip here in July with “open” company; clear sailing outside. MINERALISTIC – Disappointed as favorite last pair but fits well and threat if able to put it all together. Race 7 KEEPMEINSTITCHES – Humbled by smashing winner after Vega claimed back again; pair of decisive recent scores. DO A LEGGER – Overmatched on road trip after crushing locals in previous races; also entered for tomorrow. MAGIC HARBOR – Quick return on investment following Serey claim and dangerous again despite tricky post. SEAL TEAM FOUR – Formidable elsewhere but Ness stable still cold locally; merits much attention this level. Race 8 DRAXHALL WOODS – Faced classier rivals lately and significant drop for hot rider Navarro and trainer Pino. LAWYER DAVE – Sharp in eight consecutive outings on main track and cured case of seconditis this summer. GOOD FENG SHUI – Game and versatile veteran back on dirt and captured nearly third of races over years. ANDREW L – Likely slow fuse at this distance but ample ability for sizzling Zulueta barn; contested pace helps. Race 9 SIGNATURE LOOK – Stretch-runner improved following hiatus despite troubled trip; Goldberg barn terrific on turf. SUM UP – Displayed much potential during prime portion of Gulfstream meet; gelded since narrow victory in January. GOURMET DELIGHT – Just two lengths behind top choice and frequently close but lone score from 18 starts. HELLO ABRAXON – Exits series of narrow losses, twice at long odds, and removes blinkers; lures Carmouche. Race 10 LUCKY EMPRESS – Closed strongly when making transition to main track sprint and might appreciate added furlong. EUFAULA – Shelved three months but competed at tough circuits and moved to Carlos Guerrero barn as threat. REBEL ROSEMARY – Absent since claim but faced better in past and serious contender if ready from inside. FULLY CHARGED – Excellent form but idle seven weeks since claimed for this amount; must be considered.
