based out of the southernmost tip of Texas, near the world-famous
Lower Laguna Madre Bay. Our company produces a dozen different
high-end boat models, and has evolved into the ultimate shallow water
boat manufacturer over the last three generations. With our proven hull
designs, our boats can run and fish in skinnier water than any of our

For over 60 years, the Shallow Sport family has built high quality
fiberglass center console fishing boats specifically designed to run,
idle and fish in ultra-shallow lakes and bays. At the same time,
the intricate hull designs break up rougher water to allow for an
unbelievably comfortable and dry ride.

The 18’ Sport is a flats boat with lots of fishing room and storage for its
size. It runs great with a 90hp or up to a 115hp outboard engine. The
hull drifts like a dream and also poles amazingly well on the flats. You
are able to run ultra skinny, but still handle the rough open water with
ease. The cockpit is an all one piece molded self-bailing composite
deck with 9” gunwales and neatly finished with non-skid. This model
is the choice of many professional fishing guides since it offers plenty
of space for three to four people to fish and move around the boat
comfortably. This sporty hull is the perfect all around weekend boat for
you and friends to explore the back country.

Because of Shallow Sport’s original quadrahedral double tunnel design, you
can fish a larger rig without losing your ability to hole shot and run in the
shallow flats. The 21’ Sport layout is similar to the 18’ but offers more room
and has a larger horse power range (150-200). The extra length also helps to
smooth the ride and increases running surface resulting in a faster running
rig that offers more payload and fishing room. The 21’ and 24’ Sport are most
popular among professional charter captains in all regions.

models we offer. With the advantages of Shallow Sport’s quadrahedral
double tunnel design, it’s the ultimate rough water, shallow draft fishing
machine. It’s added length supplies the smoothest ride, the most stable
fishing platform, and obviously the most interior room of the line. There’s
storage galore and the options list is a fisherman’s dream come true.
You can have up to three huge recirculating live wells on this rig and still
run across the skinniest flat in your bay. It supplies a hole shot second
to none and the light weight construction helps to keep it quick and fuel
efficient. Our time-tested construction methods and in house rigging
ensures many years of enjoyment.

If you have never seen a boat “without sides”, the Classic line of boats by Shallow
Sport may be a shock at first glance. This time-tested hull with a flush deck
mounted on top of the sides has exceeded all safety expectations since it’s
inception over 35 years ago. It even surpassed all of the U.S. Coast Guard’s tip
test studies and was deemed one of the most stable boats they have ever tested.
With stability much like that of a floating dock, families will love the low gunwales
for in the water activities and trips to the beach. If your goal is light weight, shallow

Our most easily maneuverable boat, the 15’ Classic is a smaller, compact
fishing machine for the serious fisherman. This is the perfect rig for
2-3 fisherman looking to run super shallow with less cargo. It is very
lightweight, only 650 lbs, and is still a wide, stable and secure fishing
platform. We recommend a 60 to 70 hp outboard on the back of this hull,
and the boat is strong and stable enough to handle up to a 90 hp. This
great running boat is built for extreme shallow water performance and can
still handle rough, choppy waters.

The Texas Legend is reborn. The 18’ Classic is the boat that started it all!
Nearly all of the originals built back in the 80’s are still fishing today. Now
stronger and lighter than ever with our three piece bonded construction
method, this beauty will stand the test of time. The latest updates include
a standard recirculating live well and boxes on either side of the transom
as well as updated diamond non-skid for a modern fit and finish. Add a
raised console and you have the ultimate shallow water fishing machine.

The 20’ Classic is an amazing riding, lightweight, sporty hull that is
a wade fisherman’s dream boat. The all-one-piece composite deck
increases strength and reduces weight. Our molded deck and rear boxes
give the boat a razor sharp look. The hull only weighs an amazing 850
pounds, making it easier to pole and run through the flats and back
bays. This boat offers outstanding fishing performance for even the most
experienced of anglers. The 20’ Classic allows you to cruise “on plane” in
shallow water at super low speeds so you won’t miss a fish. The popular
raised console option allows you to add an extra live well and fish box.

The 24’ Classic is three and a half feet longer than the 20’ Classic. The
added length adds room for the standard extended raised console option
featuring a large live well and fish box. More boat also allows for more
horsepower with most of the rigs going out with 250 hp outboards. Rest

qualities that come standard on the Classic line. You will love that you can
upgrade to the 24’ Classic and still fish all of your favorite spots in a larger

gently into a tunnel at mid-ship and has reverse chines up front to
eliminate any chance of spray. The one of a kind hull design in the
Modified V line allows for great rough water performance, but still

The 21’ Modified V hull will run almost as shallow as our other designs
and is great for families and fisherman who are constantly running through
rough open bays and desire an ultra-smooth and dry ride. The high

through bigger waves, while also providing a sharper turning radius. The
21’V will deliver you safely back to the dock in all weather conditions. The

The 24’ Mod V was created as the perfect inshore/offshore crossover
boat. Its versatile design allows for an incredibly smooth ride in the bay,
while also being able to cross the big water comfortably and fish offshore.
The hull will run in as little as 6” on plane and is capable of a 12” hole
shot, performance that blows away any comparable center console V hull.
The 65 gallon fuel capacity and higher gunwales also allow the 24’ Mod V
to be customized into an excellent vessel for trolling the rigs. This model
is also a popular fresh water/saltwater crossover and is often used at the
lakes for fishing and family fun.

The multi-hull configuration eats heavy chop and has the shallow
water capabilities that you have to see to believe. The first thing you
notice about the X3 is the three sharp V’s that have aggressive lifting
strakes leading under the hulls. These strakes direct water underneath
the hull which generates a great amount of thrust that lifts the entire
boat out of the water while underway. The result is extreme shallow
water maneuverability while on plane or idling. The inside of the X3
is engineered for high performance and longevity. The complex and
reinforced stringer system has closed foam chambers for positive
flotation. The boat is built with the most advanced composites available
making it extremely strong and lightweight.

The 27’ X3 with dual tunnels is a unique multi-hull inshore/offshore boat.
The big brother of the extremely popular and versatile 25’ X3 is designed
to pair with twin outboard motors and a higher fuel capacity. Many other
upgrades make this the perfect boat for an offshore enthusiast, such as
higher gunnels with flush mounted rod holders for trolling, a deeper bow,
a huge walk-in console with room for a larger T-top. The 27’ X3 comes
standard with a wide and sturdy lean post/tackle station with built in live

The Shallow Sport Pro Team is made up of more than 150 professional fisherman and
charter captains from around the country. The Pro Team is constantly testing new

The Annual Shallow Sport Owners Tournament has become known as “the most fun
tournament of the year” and is one of the biggest bay tournaments on the Gulf Coast. The
event is held in May and is a great time for the entire family. Everyone that attends has a
chance at winning a trophy or one of over $30,000 in door prizes. Proceeds go to the
Shallow Sport Scholarship Fund. Information and entry forms can be printed from the
