COMPANY DESCRIPTION
RAVIMED Ltd Liability Company, a producer of medical equipment, was created in 1991.
It provides: single use medical products, medicinal products, individual anti-chemical protection agents,
and laboratory services. In Poland and Central Eastern Europe it is the sole producer
of containers for blood collection, storage, and preparation.
The highest quality of production is confirmed by Quality Control Certificates
ISO 9001 and ISO 13845. CE and GOST certificates also verify the high quality of the products.
RAVIMED's long-standing experience, and its modern scientific research laboratories, are the base for
constant development and study of advanced and natural environmentally friendly products
and medical technologies.
RAVIMED is in partnership with many institutes and university departments in both
Poland and other European countries.

From 2008 RAVIMED is a Polish representative on European Parliament of Enterprises in Brussels.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The RAVIMED container sets are designed for safe and effective blood collection, its further processing
and storage. The simplicity of servicing combined with the highest quality of performance facilitates
efficient work and optimal use of blood components. An extremely sharp needle was designed with
the patient's comfort in mind. A broad selection of container configurations enable adjusting the
sets for all the needs of the modern Blood Service
Containers are made from PVC foil type Transfufol 3222, and containers for blood platelets storage
from PVC foil type Transfufol 3224 (thickness: 0,35 mm) produced by Renolit BV (former Solvay Draka),
The Netherlands.
Tubing have internal diameter of 3 mm and external diameter of 4,1 mm. Donor tubing's length
is 110-150cm, transfer bags connecting tubing have length 20-70cm depending on the set type.
The needle, 16 G size, is made of stainless steel with polypropylene cover.
Blood preservative solutions can contain citric acid, sodium citrate, sodium phosphate, glucose,
adenine, guanosine, sodium chloride and mannitol. ACD stands for qualitative composition of
the solution and is an abbreviation of first letters of its constituents - Acid citric, Citrate Sodium,
Dextrose, CPDA-1- Citrate, Phosphate, Dextrose, Adenine, CPD - Citrate, Phosphate, Dextrose,
SAGM - Saline, Adenine, Glucose, Mannitol.

Blood preservative solutions provide anticoagulation of 450 ml of blood, its storage and full validity for:

Packing of the product
The shelf life time of the sets of blood bags with anticoagulants is 36 months.
Blood Collection Bags are packed individually into PE bag. Then into collective packing made of
PP bag an eventually into boxes made of three-layer carton. In each box we put copy of Instruction
of use and copy of Quality Control Certificate.
30 boxes are packed on one pallet in five layers. Dimensions of boxes are:
36cm x 36cm x 31cm (height).
Weight of empty carton box ~ 0,5 kg. Weight of one Europallet ~ 16 kg.
