HEALTHY Vegetarian and Vegan Options Available on Campus Sun Devil Dining is committed to providing a variety of vegetarian and vegan options at our residential restaurants, markets and retail locations on campus. For your convenience, we have a full-time, on campus nutritionist available to answer any questions you might have. Residential Restaurants Pitchforks (inside the Memorial Union) and Hassayampa are All-You-Care-To-Eat residential restaurants featuring vegan and vegetarian items labeled on menu boards and signs. • • • • • • • Deli Station where you can customize a vegetarian or vegan sandwich or wrap Stir-fry Station where you can mix vegetables and tofu with rice or noodles to create a healthy, delicious vegan entrée Pizza available daily with a variety of vegetarian options Vegetarian/Vegan Soups (ex: Cream of Tomato, Minestrone, Potato and Corn Chowder) Salad Bar where you can customize a great vegetarian salad The “Veg Table” stations serving solely vegetarian and vegan entrees such as Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, Penne and Vegetable Marinara, Breaded Eggplant, Lemon Herb Romaine and Vegetable Lo Mein with Tofu Grill Station serves garden burgers and grilled cheese upon request Barrett Dining Center at the Barrett Honors College The Barrett Dining Center, also an All-You-Care-To-Eat restaurant focuses on the use of fresh, local, and organic produce. One of the great features of this residential restaurant includes the stir-fry station loaded with a myriad of vegetables, beans, and tofu that students can pile onto rice or noodles. Another great feature is the weekly low-fat, low-calorie sushi offering. Many students choose to eat at Barrett because of the chef’s focus on providing foods for specific dietary needs such as vegan and vegetarian dishes. Fast Casual & Other Campus Locations Engrained Cafe This sustainability promoting restaurant in the Memorial Union (2nd Floor) brings local, fresh and organic ingredients to the table. Engrained incorporates avariety of produce including red chard, pomegranate, beets, carrots, eggplant, artichokes and more. The focus is on healthier diet based on seasonal fruits and vegetables and providing vegan and vegetarian options. All of their vegetarian and vegan options are labeled on the menus and posted signage. E2 A “taste of green” café based off of the Engrained element committed to locally grown food and sustainable practices. E2 features vegan and vegetarian salads, sandwiches and snacks, fair-trade coffees, and specialty drinks. Devil’s Diner at P.V. Main At this 1950s style diner, located at North campus, there are several vegetarian options to choose from ranging from a grilled veggie quesadilla with salsa to a garden burger with curly fries . All of your favorite dishes are served from morning until Devil’s Greens at P.V. Main A create your own salad bar, where you can customize a healthy salad from an array of fresh fruits and vegetable, and homemade breads and soups with vegetarian and vegan options labeled.
