Sletten Construction Company Employee stock ownership plan JANUARY 2012 VOLUME 1 ISSUE 6 CELEBRATING ESOP AWARENESS MONTH! Each location celebrated in their own way. In Great Falls Judy and Michelle organized “Everyone’s Slice of the Pie” day with 6 other local ESOP companies. There was a pie baking contest with 20 entries (top 3 winners were from Sletten), ESOP games, food bank drive and special guest speaker Ron Hayes president of the NW Region of the ESOP Association . This was a great success with local media attending and highlighting the event in the local news. Next year the event will be hosted by T D & H at their new building we are constructing just down the road from the main office. Phoenix planned a lunch and learn for employees and distributed ESOP apparel to participants. In Cody participants were given ESOP apparel along with facts about ESOPs. Las Vegas hosted a lunch and learn for participants. Participants received ESOP handouts and a computer sleeve as a gift. There were drawings for gift cards as well. The Idaho participants will receive apparel and informational packets about ESOPs. Would you like to get more involved in ESOPs? Now is the time to contact your local chapter.
