the Dallas is Diversity Artwork project. Students illustrate their ideas of how soccer promotes diversity with the calendar featuring holidays celebrated throughout the world. Summer Soccer & Art Clinics Throughout the year Dallas is Diversity sponsors youth soccer skills clinics promoting the value of sportsmanship through amateur competition in the game of soccer. The clinics are free and open to children who normally would not be exposed to soccer but are interested in experiencing the game at all levels of play. As part of the expansion of the Dallas is Diversity program, art clinics have been incorporated with the summer soccer clinics. The children participating in the selected clinics do a “make and take” art project and have soccer skills training during the afternoon session. This gives the children the added benefit of being exposed to art as well as sport, diversifying their experience. International School Banner Project Sixth grade social studies classrooms in Dallas, Frisco, Garland and Richardson Independent School Districts learn about other cultures around the world as they create banners depicting selected countries of a team or referee who will be participating in the Dallas Cup Soccer Tournament. Cultural Exchange Program A new program that we are putting into place in 2010. Approximately 15-20 visiting International Teams will be invited to visit selected local schools for a “Meet and Greet” question and answer sessions arranged conveniently for the school and the team. Translators if necessary will be provided by Richland Community College. Children’s Hospital Visit Two/Four Super Group Teams will be invited to attend local Children’s Hospitals for “Meet and Greet Sessions” gifts of soccer balls, T-shirts, and other items to be handed out to children. 2011 - Dr Pepper Dallas Cup XXXII • A Sponsorship that Delivers: – The best international youth competition in the Americas – Dallas Is Diversity Programs year round-20,000+ children involved – Actively promotes youth soccer in the United States and World Wide – Solidifies Sponsor as a LEADER in International Soccer competition, Diversity Issues & Community involvement – Show cases Sponsors product and service in the local community and world-wide 2011 Tournament Plans • All major games at Pizza Hut Park, Frisco Texas • Two major focus matches- estimated 150,000 week long spectator attendance – Opening Day Sunday Match and Welcome World Opening Ceremony – Easter Sunday Super Group Finals 2011 Plans – Opening Day • Sponsor Exhibit Zone – Pizza Hut Park • Parade of Nations – ALA The World Cup • Marque opening Match U19 Super Group • Time Warner Televises Evening Super Group Game Live Dr Pepper Dallas Cup- Additional Opportunities • Marketing – Cross promotions with Title Sponsor Dr Pepper and inclusion in North Texas Hispanic programming – Inclusion in all local promotions and public relations • Revenue Sharing/cost reduction – If Sponsor provides additional sponsorship opportunities for Dallas Cup when new sponsorship agreement is reached, sponsor to share in revenue generated at a rate of 20% which would be applied to funding additional programs that are mutually agreeable to Sponsor and Dallas Cup.
