G|PRO Green Professional Building Skills Training GPRO Construction Management Classroom Exercise 7.1: Reporting Templates & Cutsheets Instructions: 1. 2. 3. Distribute the 4 Credit Reporting Templates to 4 students. Those students will act as the CMs and be responsible for collecting the required information from the cutsheets. Distribute the cutsheets to the remaining students. These students will act as subcontractors and submit cutsheets to deliver verification data to the appropriate CM. Look for things like: • Some sheets just say “low VOC” – not OK by itself – needs to list g/L • Some sheets you need to look hard to find the info • Some sheets cover more than one product so proof of actual product use is important. • Encore LEED product says “LEED approved” which is nonsense. It does list VOC limits also but is a good opportunity to discuss greenwashing. • This exercise is intended to simulate the flurry of paperwork that comes with the submittal phase of a job. It’s OK if it’s a little chaotic! Reporting Templates: • • • • MRc4: Recycled Content MRc5: Regional Content IEQc4.1: Low-Emitting Adhesives & Sealants IEQc4.2: Low-Emitting Paints and Coatings Cutsheets: • • Recycled and Regional cutsheets (10 items – 20 pages) VOC cutsheets (10 items – 22 pages) GPRO Construction Management IEQc4.1 Reporting Template Low-Emitting Materials: Adhesives & Sealants Exercise Instructions: Complete the following template.
