Adjunto usted encontrará información respecto a la ley 'Que Ningún Niño Se Quede
Atrás’ como también opciones educacionales para su hijo/a que usted puede
considerar. 'Que Ningún Niño Se Quede Atrás’, una ley de reforma de educación que
pasó el Congreso de los Estados Unidos en 2002, enfoca sus esfuerzos en aumentar el
logro académico del estudiante, la calidad del maestro, y la contabilidad en los
resultados.
El Distrito Escolar Metropolitano de Cleveland apoya fuertemente los objetivos de la
ley 'Que Ningún Niño Se Quede Atrás’. Esperamos que todos nuestros niños tengan
éxito en nuestro riguroso currículo, que todos los maestros estén altamente calificados
y dedicados al éxito del estudiante, y que cada escuela luche por ser una escuela de
alta ejecución.
La escuela de su hijo/a se identificó en necesidad de mejoramiento académico. Como
el Distrito Escolar no tiene otras opciones para enviar a su hijo/a a otras escuelas
públicas, tampoco fuera del districto, su hijo/a es elegible para servicios de educación
suplementaria (Tutoria Gratis). Usted puede ahora elegir un mejor servicio de tutoria
para su hijo/a.
Este folleto incluye información importante acerca de la ley 'Que Ningún Niño Se
Quede Atrás’ y sus derechos y responsabilidades para garantizar el éxito académico
de su hijo/a. Por favor revise cuidadosamente la información específicamente

to become a premier school district in the United States of America.
El Logro Académico
Bajo el Acta 'Que Ningún Niño se Quede Atrás’, la escuela (ESCOLAR) ha sido identificada como
una Escuela que Necesita Mejorar. Esta designación indica que la escuela no ha cumplido con los
est341ndares establecidos por el estado de Ohio por dos años consecutivos.
En el año escolar 2009-2010, la escuela, (ESCOLAR) obtuvo el siguiente grado en los exámenes
estatales:

Muchos estudiantes se benefician de ayuda adicional después del horario de clases. Estudiantes en
escuelas identificadas para Mejora Escolar son elegibles para servicios educacionales suplementarios tales
como tutoría para después del horario de clases. Debido a que el espacio es limitado en esos programas,
se dará prioridad a aquellos estudiantes que tengan una necesidad académica grande basándonos en los
resultados de los exámenes estatales. Si usted desea escoger Servicios Educacionales Suplementarios para
su hijo/a, favor de ver la lista de proveedores para seleccionar un proveedor.
Favor de completar la aplicación que adjunto le estamos enviando y devolverla no más tardar del viernes,
22 de octubre, 2010. Para su conveniencia, LE ESTAMOS PROVEYENDO UN SELLO AÉREO .
