IN THE WIDER BLACK SEA AREA
A Regional Coalition
for Child Protection in the
Wider Black Sea Area.
ChildPact represents 600 NGOs which serve more than 500,000 children as
direct beneficiaries.
Established at the 4th gathering of the Black Sea NGO Forum in 2011,
ChildPact is a coalition of coalitions; its members are national networks of
child-focused NGOs from 10 countries.

OUR PURPOSE
Using advocacy, ChildPact motivates decision makers to prioritize
children in policy actions, funding and strategy. Using partnership,
ChildPact encourages solution-driven responses to child vulnerability
with recognition that innovation of action and complexity of problem
demand unified approaches.
OUR VISION
We envision a prosperous Wider Black Sea Area that not only protects
their children but actively empowers their children to reach the highest
levels of their potential, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender or
social background.
We have a duty to
find and implement
solutions that
protect our children.
OUR OBJECTIVES

ChildPact monitors and influences child-related policies at regional and
European levels by documenting child protection concerns and advocating
for better policies that protect vulnerable children.

ChildPact strengthens the capacity of its members by actively supporting
their development, visibility and credibility.

ChildPact advocates for regional cooperation at inter-governmental and
civil society levels to identify best practices and solutions that overcome
threats to child well-being.

ChildPact raises public awareness of child rights and protection issues at
national, regional and European contexts.
