Helaform- product series:
Light series (doors under 100 kg): a popular and
versatile product series, which was developed for light
internal sliding and folding doors, as well as for hanging
indoor curtains.
Middleweight series (doors up to 200 kg) developed
for both internal and external use, sliding and folding doors, as well as for conveyor systems and indoor
curtains.
Heavyweight series (doors up to 2000 kg) developed for heavy applications of sliding and folding door
systems. The technical research Centre of Finland (VTT)
has approved them for use in sliding fire-doors as well
Helaform sliding door systems are easy to choose
and assemble
Before making your choice determine
- the weight of the door (kg)
- the dimensions of a door (m2) used outdoors
- construction of door (wooden- or metal-framed)
- size of door opening
Length of track
Select the track according to the weight and
dimensions of the door. As a general rule, twice the
width of the door is needed. Once the track has been
selected, the accessories should be chosen from the
same product system (e.g. wall brackets SK-150 for a
K-150 track).
Attaching the track The track should be attached with brackets selected
according to the method of attachment (wall/ceiling).
The capacities quoted apply only if brackets are used.
In the lightweight series (under 100 kg) the track
can also be fixed directly with screws to the ceiling.
The number of brackets is equivalent to the number
of meters of track + 1 unit. This gives 1 m. between
brackets. For doors weighing over 500 kg brackets
should be attached at intervals of 0.5 metre. Joint
brackets should be used at track junctions.
Two hangers required per door
Two hangers are needed for each door. If more are
used the door will not work correctly. Note that hangers
for wooden and metal doors are of different design,
(see wooden door PPS hanger models and metal door
MPS hanger models).
Stops limit the door’s movement
A stop should be installed inside each end of the track.
Wall stops are fixed to the wall about halfway up the
height of the door. Where double tracks are used, track
stops should also be fitted. 4
Dimensions of door used outdoors (wind stress!)
End clips
End clips prevent tracks moving in their brackets and
also provide an attractive finish. Choosing a bottom guide
A bottom guide ensures faultless and safe operation
of the door and also prevents the door from swinging.
Bottom guide track AOK is fixed to the bottom of the door.
Bottom guide AO-12 (Ø19 mm) is used to steady the door
against e.g. a wall. With bottom guide AO-13 (Ø 30 mm) a
40 mm U profile is used as a bottom guide channel. With
bottom guide AO-14 (Ø 40 mm) the U profile is 50 mm.
Bottom guides AO-22, AO-23 and AO-24 are intended for
double track arrangements.
Double track arrangement
Where there is insufficient lateral space for opening the
doors, or they are to overlap when opening, a double
track arrangement can be used. The length of the tracks
is normally twice the width of the door opening. Double
track brackets should be attached at 1 m. intervals. The
number of brackets is equivalent to half of the number of
meters of track + 1 unit.

Light series for indoor use 30, 40 and 60
Products from our light series are suitable for interior light sliding doors, such as cupboard
and wardrobe doors. Series 30 and 40 are also available in DIY packs, which include everything necessary for the installation of the doors. Ready made up sales packaging assist
purchasing and retailing.

Double Don 465
Product series 365 is designed for a single light wardrobe or cupboard
door. Use with track K-030/alu, standard lengths are 1, 2 m; 1,5 m;
1,8 m and 2,4 m. The track can be fixed directly underneath the door
lintel without brackets.
Capacity 45 kg/ door. Maximum door thickness is 50mm.
Product series 465 is designed for light wardrobe or cupboard doors.
Use with track K-40/alu, standard lengths are 1,2 m, 1,5 m, 1,8 m,
2,4 m. The track can be fixed directly underneath the door lintel without
brackets.
Capacity 45 kg/ door. Maximum door thickness is 40mm.

Track K-060/alu
Our most popular and versatile series, where you can find products for both straight sliding and
folding doors, and protective curtains. Hangers are equipped with special ball bearings, making them
suitable for both internal and external use. There are many different installation possibilities for both
track and hangers.
Serie 75 is also available in DIY packages, which include everything necessary for the installation of
sliding or folding doors. Stylish, ready made up sales packaging facilitates purchasing and retailing.

Pocket door system
SyncroDuo solution, where a pair of sliding doors, hung on one track, are connected to each
other so that both doors open simultaneously by just moving one leaf.
An ideal solution, if you want to install a retro-fitted sliding door in place of a hinged door.
With a pocket door the entire wall space is left completely free, and saves the intrusion into
the room space by an opening swing door.

Series 100 and 150
Series 100 is our most complete product
range. Apart from sliding door applications
it can be used for many other uses, such
as industrial curtains or light conveyor
systems, which make the workload easier.
Cable trollies for both flat and round cables
are also available within this product
range. Series 100 is also suitable for high
temperatures and can be used in painting
tunnels etc.
The 150 Series is particularly suitable for
medium weight industrial applications,
such as straight sliding or folding doors,
steel mesh doors, security grilles and
garage sliding doors, as well as for storage systems and exhibition stands. One
of the most popular applications is for the
sliding doors in shopping centers, as well
as different kinds of applications in the
shipbuilding industry.
The 150 Series is also excellent for use in
barns and agricultural buildings, especially
as sliding doors give adding security, for
example in case of fire.
Tracks 100 and 150 are manufactured
from galvanized or stainless steel. For
really demanding conditions track K- 100,
in stainless steel, can be used being both
corrosion and acid resistant (AISI 316).

Series 300 and 500
The 300 Series is durable and versatile
and widely used for industrial and agricultural installations. Sliding door systems in the Series 300 are ideal for many
other applications. They can be used for
example in art museums for exhibition
stands, as well as a variety of storage
systems. Series 500 is also suitable for
wall and pillar jib-cranes or other similar
applications.
Hangers from Series 300 and 500 have
sealed for life ball bearings. Tracks are
designed from galvanized or stainless
steel. All products from this series have
been tested by the Technical Research
Centre of Finland (VTT) and are approved
for use in sliding fire doors as well.
We can also manufacture special products according to customer needs.

Bottom guide systems are necessary
A suitable bottom guide system should always be specified at the door design stage. A bottom guide ensures faultless and safe operation of the door and also prevents the door from
swinging. On metal doors the bottom profile can be an inverted U-section, or a bottom guide
channel can be welded to the underside of the door.

With a folding door system the usable

Glass thickness can be 6, 8, 10 or 12 mm. No fixing holes are needed
in the glass for doors up to 100 kg. Two holes per clamp are

G-Tech – When appearance is essential!
G-Tech System for glass doors is a modern and stylish solution for both the home and for
public spaces. Components are manufactured from brushed stainless steel, and give a modern and refined look to frameless glass sliding doors. The system is suitable for doors up to
100 kg. Glass thickness can be either 10 or 12 mm. Tracks can be fixed either to the wall or
to adjoining glass side panels.

Helastack and Helaflex Systems for sliding walls
Impressive partitioning solution for public places, such as shopping centres and also completely suitable for outdoor use on patio doors etc. All components are made of brushed stainless steel. The track is aluminium, with a PVC insert. Leaves can be up to 1000 mm wide by
3300 mm high and 90 kg in weight. The system can be used for openings up to 14 m wide,
by using two sets of seven leaves.
The Helafold System is sold in installation packs for three-, four-, or
five leaf doors.
The Helastack 45° stacking system is perfect for glass shop fronts and exposition dividers,
giving an impression of space and light whilst leaving the entire access opening free. Various
stacking arrangements are possible as well as swing access doors. Tailor made systems, to
the customer’s specifications, can be supplied with or without glass.

Helaflex is a multi-directional system where the individual panels can be moved wherever
they are needed, for dividing or separating areas in public spaces, such as in hotels or congress halls. Maximum door weight is between 250-500 kg, depending on the system, glass
thickness 10-12 mm. Max door width is 2000 mm and height 3500 mm.
