The caliper is designed for use with mineral oil.
Each thruster side is equipped with a washer below the nut. This keeps the brake released for easier installation. Note: The washer has to be removed before commissioning!
For doing so, supply hydraulic pressure to the caliper, remove the nuts and washers.

The air gap between the brake pad and the disc has to be adjusted to 1 mm each ride.
Mechanical release device: The calipers in delivery condition are forced to be open by release
plate, 4 screws secured with 4 nuts on each thruster.
Note: Before commissioning apply hydraulic pressure to the brake and remove the mechanical
release device from the thrusters!

Note: After installing and before commissioning remove the mechanical release device from the thrusters
by apply hydraulic pressure to the brake till it is open,
now the screws are loose. Remove the screws, nuts
and release plate and assemble the back plate on
the thruster. Keep the mechanical release device for
manually opening the brake
