I am pleased to announce that Alliance College-Ready
Public Schools are accepting applications for the 2016-2017
school year!
At Alliance College-Ready Public Schools we believe that all
students can achieve if given the opportunity. Our schools are
focused on preparing students for success in college and 21st
century careers.
We currently operate 27 free, public charter high schools and
middle schools serving nearly 12,000 students in neighborhoods all over Los Angeles.
Additionally, we will be opening a new high school in Sun Valley in the 2016-2017
academic year.
Alliance schools are tuition-free, and open to all students in California, including
those with special educational needs. Ensure that your child receives the collegepreparatory education that they deserve by enrolling them at an Alliance school.

How to Apply
Step 1: Select your school
• In 2016-2017 Alliance will operate 18 high schools and 10 middle schools in Los
Angeles and Sun Valley. View the list of schools on the following pages to find
the school closest to you.
• We encourage you to visit our schools or attend parent information sessions so
you can learn more about the schools in which you are interested. Information
sessions for each school are listed in this booklet on pages 8-15, or you may
contact the schools directly for more details.
Step 2: Complete an application
Option 1 – Complete the enclosed application
You may return the enclosed application to your selected school by mail, or deliver it
directly to your selected school in person.
Option 2 – Apply online
You may also apply online by clicking the Enroll button at www.laalliance.org.
Additional information
• You may submit applications to more than one Alliance school; however you
must complete a separate application form for each school. Additional
forms can be found on our website at www.laalliance.org or picked up at any
Alliance school.

• The deadline to submit an enrollment application varies from school to school.
See school deadlines on pages 8-15. All schools continue to accept
applications after the enrollment deadline has passed. If the school is fully
enrolled, your student will be added to the waitlist.
• Applications are taken on a first come, first served basis. If more applications
are received than spaces available by the application deadline, a public lottery
will be held. Information about lottery procedures will be provided by the
school. Your enrollment application will also serve as the lottery form in the
event of a public lottery.
• All students are encouraged to enroll, including those with special educational
needs.
