PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Airlift is a water-soluble air freshener formulated to control and eliminate unpleasant
odors whenever and wherever they occur. While regularly scheduled cleaning and
disinfecting procedures eliminate the soils and bacteria which cause most odors,
people, pets, food, and accidents often cause malodors which become airborne and
stagnate or permeate environmental surfaces, making the air unpleasant. Airlift is
Spartan's solution to a broad range of commonly encountered offensive odors requiring
odor control.
Formulated to bring outdoor freshness indoors, Airlift is available in six fragrances, plus
Smoke & Odor Eliminator.

SMOKE & ODOR ELIMINATOR:
Unique, Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator is a combination of surfactants, solvent and
carefully chosen odor eliminating ingredients blended to provide fast, efficient
elimination of problem odors. Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator chemically alters,
neutralizes and destroys offensive smells. Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator's active odor
neutralizing ingredient permanently binds up many types of offensive airborne
molecules (osmophores). If the odor generating material is not reintroduced into the
room, the room will remain deodorized.

FAST AND EFFECTIVE:
Airlift’s formulations incorporate raw material ingredients whose primary function is
elimination of odors. CWQ, a special quaternary, assists the initial control of offensive
odors caused by stale air, mildew, urine, vomit, etc. CWQ enhances the effectiveness of
other deodorizing ingredients in Airlift; so, treated areas remain fresh for extended
periods of time. Spray a light mist on drapes, carpet, fabrics and upholstered furniture to
eliminate odors and refreshen fabrics. Always test in an inconspicuous area for
colorfastness.
VERSATILE:
Airlift concentrates mix well with hot or cold water permitting a wide variety of
deodorizing applications. Airlift may be used on or around most surfaces not harmed by
water. Air freshening may be accomplished by simply diluting Airlift concentrates with
water in a quart bottle and spraying into the air. Also, Airlift can be added to clean rinse
water during a rinsing application. Airlift is also available in RTU Handi Spray® quarts
and aerosol cans for added convenience.
SUPER ECONOMICAL AIRLIFT CONCENTRATES:
The unique interaction of Airlift's high quality ingredients permit high dilutions, for
example:
• Use just 2 ounces of Airlift per gallon of rinse water.
• Use just 2 ounces of Airlift per gallon of water used in an extractor for rinsing
purposes.
• Use just 1 ounce of Airlift added to your bucket when damp mopping floors.
HANDLING AND STORAGE:
Non-flammable. Airlift does not require special handling or storage. The diluted product
will not irritate skin or nasal passages. Formulated with environmental needs in mind,
Airlift products are biodegradable and phosphate free.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Some individuals may be sensitive to ingredients in this product. Before use,
read product label and MSD sheet.
Airlift Concentrates:
1. Routine Deodorization/Light Cleaning/Damp Mopping
a. Add 2 oz. of Airlift to each gallon of water in the bucket (1:64).
2. Carpeting
a. Add 1/2 oz. Airlift to each gallon of diluted shampoo or extraction solution
(1:256).
3. Hand Spraying/Misting
a. Add 4 oz. of Airlift per gallon of water (1:32).
4. Fogging
a. Use equal parts of Airlift and water (1:1).
5. Rinse water
a. Add 1 oz. of Airlift for every gallon of water (1:128).
NOTE: Effective deodorization is largely dependent upon the nature and type of
malodor, method of application, etc. Therefore, experimentation with dilution ratios from
1:256 to 1:1 is recommended for optimum economy and performance.

1. Stand in center of room.
2. Point spray nozzle up toward ceiling corner.
3. Turn and spray in all directions.
Airlift Aerosols:
1. Shake can well before using.
2. Point can up towards center of room.

Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator:
For Normal Odor and Smoke Neutralization:
1. Remove gross source of malodors such as used ashtrays.
2. Apply with sprayer or fogger. Use finest mist.
3. Lightly mist upper portions of room near ceiling.
NOTE: For heavy build up of odors, such as smoker's rooms in hotels, daily use will
help to neutralize malodors and freshen draperies, bedspreads and carpets.
For Fire-Damaged Areas/Odor Elimination:
Apply with sprayer or fogger. Use finest mist. Apply directly to damaged or burnt
surfaces whenever possible. Lightly mist upper portions of room near ceiling.
For Fire-Damage Clean Up of Hard Surfaces:
Spartan Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator mixed with diluted BH-38 Degreaser cleans and
deodorizes hard surfaces damaged by fire. Follow label instructions for BH-38. Add 2
oz. or more of Airlift Smoke & Odor Eliminator to each gallon of diluted BH-38.
For Fabrics:
Spray a light mist on drapes, carpet, fabrics and upholstered furniture to eliminate odors
and refreshen fabrics. Always test in an inconspicuous area for colorfastness.
PACKAGING:
Airlift Citrus, Cranberry Ice and PearLux are packaged RTU Handi Spray® quarts, 12
per case. Label copy is available in English, Spanish, and French. Secondary labels are
also available.
