The patient presented with fungal infections; anti-fungal cream was applied twice daily for one week, and the patient was placed on a low air-loss specialty bed. One week later, use of the anti-fungal cream was discontinued. Aquasorb Hydrogel Wound Dressing was applied April 17. The patient remained on the specialty bed. 18 days after the start of Aquasorb, patient’s wounds have improved. The skin around the wounds is healthy and granulating. The patient remains on the specialty bed. Date: May 5 Two days after one application, Aquasorb was still securely in place and still absorbing wound drainage. Aquasorb remained intact on removal and left no residue on the wound.
