Friday, Sept. 2, 2016 Appearing on the Grandstand Stage J. Cole debuted in 2007 with his mixtape The Come Up. He followed this with a second mixtape The Warm Up (2009), and shined on "A Star Is Born" from Jay-Z's album The Blueprint 3. A fervent fan base – of boys and girls, men and women – were with him. It's for them that Cole has since 2013 conducted an annual tour called "Dollar And A Dream" where fans willing paying one buck are treated to tracks from his early work. That's payback. In 2015, J. Cole won Album of the Year at the BET Hip Hop Awards and Top Rap Album at the Billboard Music Awards. He was also a nominee for Best Rap Album at the 58th Grammy Awards and has received many additional accolades for his work. Monday, Sept. 5, 2016 Appearing on the Grandstand Stage A1A was born in 1991 when Lead Vocalist and Guitarist, Jeff Pike asked Atlanta Parrot Head Club Founder, Scott Nickerson to join him in his already successful one man tribute to Jimmy Buffett. In 1992, the band won a Jimmy Buffett Sound Alike Contest for Margaritaville Records and the A1A ball started rolling - a ball that is still rolling 25 years later. A1A performs as a seven-piece band, complete with audio and light production, bringing to life a colorful and energetic family friendly Jimmy Buffett Tribute Show. Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016 Appearing on the Grandstand Stage Stu Cook and Doug “Cosmo” may not have intended it, but their band Creedence Clearwater Revisited has taken on a startling life of its own. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame rhythm section (bass and drums respectively) from the legendary group Creedence Clearwater Revival launched the Creedence Clearwater Revisited project in 1995 to once again perform live Creedence Clearwater Revival hits - touchstones of a generation. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2016 Appearing on the Grandstand Stage While rock band Smash Mouth formed in 1994, they haven’t slowed down in providing partying music across generations. Their first major label debut “Fush Yu Mang” went more than double platinum, followed by their album Astrolounge, that went quadruple platinum in status. The top 24 competitors vie for their part of the prize winnings, and their performances guarantee edge-of-your-seat action. The PRCA athletes are giving the fans a rodeo that they won’t soon forget. The Dancing in the Dirt party continues after the concert in the Bucking Shoot Saloon in the rodeo arena for all rodeo and concert ticket holders. Husband and wife duo Keifer and Shawna Thompson started as solo acts, until they sang backing vocals in 2007 on Ty Herndon’s Right About Now. The rest, they say, is history. In 2012 the duo was honored to receive top honors as the “Vocal Duo of the Year” by ACM and CMA. In 2013 ACM awarded them “Vocal Duo of the Year” again. Named after a British battle cry, for King & Country has been called “Australia’s answer to Coldplay” by American Songwriter. Joel and Luke Smallbone were born in Sydney, and moved to Nashville in 1991. Their father was a music promoter, and took his children to work with him as they grew up. Voz de Mando’s hit single “Comandos del M.P. (500 Balazos)” brought them international fame in 2010, which has continued to this day. Proyecto X is known for songs “Ignore,” “Mi Angelita mi Diablita,” and “The Beast.” Los Angeles-based Voz de Mando received a Latin Grammy Award nomination for their Mexican regional music.
