plumbing can be easily installed under the cabinets.
Completely Adjustable

site, to fit perfectly under soffits.

desire when planning a new or
remodeled kitchen. Normally the
lights are provided by the cabinet
distributor or an electrician. The end
result can vary from the choice of
fixture to the ability of the installer.

When illuminating the interior of
a cabinet with glass door fronts,
fixtures are typically installed at
the ceiling of the cabinet and the
light must filter down through glass
shelving. While lighted adjustable
shelves with aluminum frames are
now available to cabinet manufacturers, there has not been a solution that integrates lighting into a
fixed panel that also functions as a
cabinet component.
With Total Light, a stock cabinet
bottom or top is replaced with a
pre-wired assembly that is identical
in length, width and thickness and
can be easily installed on the assembly line.
Total Light was designed specifically
for face frame cabinets as there is
space underneath and above for
an assembly that houses LED strip
lighting and translucent panels.

Each cabinet is supplied power
through low, 12 volt wiring that connects to a main transformer that plugs
into a standard 120 volt outlet. With
normal installations an electrician is not
required to make the wiring connections after the cabinets are
installed.
The wiring can be routed underneath
or on top of the cabinet. Wiring cabinets together is acomplished with various linking cables and terminal blocks.

How to Specify
Order the same size as your existing Cabinet Bottom:
• Length
• Depth
• Thickness - frames are available for cabinets
with 1/2” or 3/8” wide dados in the sides and
back. The lip dimension 1/32” undersized.
• Wood Species - Maple, Cherry and Red Oak
frames are offered in the stock program. Other
species can be obtained in minimum quantities.

Dimmer Controls
Dimmers for LED lighting are connected to the output (low voltage DC current) side of the transformer. Panel mount rotary dimmers or remote control
dimmers are available.
Acrylic is inserted into the frame.
Light bar with wire is inserted into a cardboard tube.
A plastic bag with the plug end for the wire, (2)
adhesive wire clips and the wire channel retainer will
be taped to the TL assembly.

polarized.

The frame, acrylic and light bar tube will have
identifying code numbers to keep the set matched
when they are separated.
The frame and tube are strapped to a cardboard
sheet with a perimeter margin of 2”-3” for protection
in shipping.
