coming together to launch a project born from the kitchen to reach
all those who enjoy good things.
And here it all started, from our passion for Mountain Brown beef
and the desire to make its meat available to everyone who wants to
taste it was born the idea of Petra Mora. Since we had got the best
possible meats for us, we thought, why not do the same with other
products?
So with the help of Mikel Zeberio, we began to tour the entire
country. We sought, tested and finally selected to achieve the best
quality product. Now, the best manufacturers are partners of this
new bet in constant progress. A convenient and accessible mini
market of top quality products under a single identity.

PINK MEAT
PETRA MORA: BEEF The meat we get from Mountain
Brown is especially white and tender because they
live in total freedom in Granja de Moreruela, Zamora,
and, of course, due to their natural diet. Proof of this are
tenderloin medallions perfect for chateaubriand or steak
tartar, exquisite steak to make it just right, or tasty burgers
and mini burgers to accompany with chipotle Mayonnaise,
the Miso BBQ sauce or the Bull Burger made by chef Dani
García for Petra Mora.
PETRA MORA RED BEEF: COW Luismi Garayar, known as “the butcher of the best chefs in the world”, is
considered almost like a Galician for his weekly trips to Pontevedra to choose the finest Galician beef
meats for Petra Mora. Because of his experience and eye, he provides us with the juiciest steaks and
the leanest steaks that thrill red meat lovers.
COLD MEATS AND CHEESE
“What it is the perfect cold meat board?” With this question in mind we began to search the houses of
traditional cold meat making in half a country. The result, a deli with very genuine protagonists: Acornfed Iberian produce from the Sierra de Jabugo, the original Iberian pork or dry-cured pork shoulder
chorizo from Burgos.
From the Vic area, a very traditional variety, and of course limited production Catalan botifarras. A
different flavour: special fuet soaked on stout beer. And of course, Joselito, with his jamones, shoulder
and sliced meats.
Imagine a small family dairy in the mountains where cheeses are made by hand from the milk of the
flock itself. Well, there is where the most traditional cheeses and the most special flavours can be found
and Mikel Zeberio arrived to create our particular dairy. A journey that has brought us the cured,
semi-cured and blue cheeses with traditional flavours and others that have really surprised us. From
the softness of a ‘torta pasiega’ developed in the mountains of Cantabria, to a Valdeón blue cheese.
We were surprised at the taste of fresh milk from a young cow in the Catalan Pyrenees and we were
seduced the traditional flavour of Aged sheep’s milk. Special, traditional, handmade and international
awarded cheeses. Do not miss the latest news, the journey continues.
CANNED AND SMOKED PRODUCE
A slice of the best from our sea and fields in each package. Open the can and savour the produce only
the Galician Rías can offer; discover the flavour of seaweeds and all the possibilities they have in the
kitchen; dare to taste the monkfish liver (a delicacy in Japan).
Enjoy the firm and juicy Longfin Tuna loin, or the only whole Tuna belly with skin to be found canned.
Do you know the Mulard duck meat? Very tender glazed. Try traditional hunting meats in a very
special marinade.
How about a stroll through the Navarra orchards? Asparagus, Faba beans, peppers, artichokes, natural
products that retain their flavour. In the world of smoked and salted fish, tasting the artisan anchovies
from the Cantabrian is a must, and attention to our special recommendation: chopped Norwegian
salmon loins.
SNACKS AND SALADS
Assorted, to snack with friends, ¡they are always a winner! We wanted to
pay tribute to the Spanish snack on our shelves including the finest pickles
and olives from the Ribera Alta del Ebro and we got the country’s most
popular pickled garlic; a cocktail of roasted nuts on a wood stove unique
in Europe, a selection of almost 20 different breads and crackers (all very
crispy!) and the most traditional crisps in olive oil.
PANTRY
Pantry products are also the basis of the best dishes. With a drizzle of
olive oil infused with herbs or lemon we got multiply the possibilities of
dishes and recipes. We like to play to mix ingredients to discover new
flavours and escape the routine. Corn pepper, thyme leaf, nutmeg grains
add the most aromatic spices or prepare an exotic sauce by combining
them.
A light meal? One fresh salad with our mix of white sesame seeds,
pumpkin seeds and almonds sprinkled with a dash of balsam vinegar.
And, if you like pasta, add some lemon shells to it!
READY MEALS
A pumpkin cream as a starter, and as a main dish, beef cheeks in vanilla sauce. How long have spent in
the kitchen? As long as it takes to heat the plate. Eating healthy and tasty food should not be influenced
by your skills in the kitchen or the time you have to spend on it.
So we managed to produce all natural vegetable creams, dishes prepared from traditional recipes and
many more new dishes in which chef David Aragón and our cooks work shoulder to shoulder. Make it
easy for yourself, ready to eat!
SWEETS AND DESSERTS
We have endeavoured to show that in the world of sweets
not everything has been created and there is always room
for surprise: bars, rocks and sticks from cocoa mixtures
from different origins and varieties of production 100%
organic combined with original flavours: pink pepper,
candied orange, roasted corn, ginger...
Cookies are handmade by pastry chef who learned from
the best in the world; a very fresh and juicy Panettone with
chocolate nuggets; a selection of chestnuts from Galicia
from which we get their sweetest version with the marrons
glacé and chestnuts in syrup.
For those who enjoy giving their personal touch, nut mixes for cookies and cakes. And notice the
collection of honey from wild plants and flowers and their recommendation to be combined with
dishes and desserts. The best way to get rid of temptation is fall into it.
WINE AND SPIRITS
Rafaela, Manuela, Renata, Melania in Petra Mora behind each woman’s name the best major Spanish
wineries that produce our wines from the selection of the most renowned grapes (albariño, godello,
tempranillo) can be found and they are covered by the most important D.O. (Designation of Origin). A
Somontano Cabernet Sauvignon? Take Francisca with you, do you prefer a Navarra white? Remember
Balduina.
