Your Child’s Pathway to
Top American Universities
A Passport to success
Home to over 3,000 universities and colleges, the USA offers one of the richest and most diverse
educational systems in the world. Six of the top ten universities in the world and 36 of the top 100,
lie within North America.
W
ith such a wide variety of excellent higher education
opportunities, there truly is something for everyone.
The standard of education is second to none and whichever school
you and your child choose, you can be sure that it will set them on
the path towards achieving the highest ambitions. Countless American
parents who want the best for their children choose a private education
knowing that it will be their passport to success.
We carefully select and represent institutions that are renowned
for their superior academic and extracurricular programs.
At our Private High Schools, individual needs are more easily
identified, more additional help is available and students can work
at their own level. These schools offer a lower student-teacher ratio
than public schools, enabling students to benefit from the care and
close attention of their teachers. Every Private High Schools partner
in the USA must also offer individual care and display a proven track
record in successfully graduating international students.
Many of our students go on to study at the following universities:
Boston University, Brown University, Columbia University, Harvard
University, Indiana University, Massachusetts Institue of Technology,
New York University, Penn State University, Tufts University, Parsons
School of Design, University of Southern California, Yale University.
“I chose George Stevens
because of their excellent
record of admissions
into Ivy League schools.
I hope to go to the
University of
Pennsylvania next year.
With the preparation
and encouragement
From George Stevens,
I believe I have a chance”

Care

Student Care
Support every step of the way
Our role once students arrive is to help them integrate to their new environment. This not only includes
their school but their local community and host family or residence. Our full-time team of staff and
counselors will provide support during the process and throughout their program.
F
rom the moment your child arrives we will provide them with the
necessary tools to begin their journey. Throughout the year,
we remain on hand to assist and support students as they adjust not
only to their life in the US, but also their new learning environment.
In addition to top-quality teaching, all our partner schools offer
exceptional opportunities to develop extra-curricular interests.
Students may visit museums with their art class, go whale watching
with their biology class or visit the Capitol Building and White House
on a school trip. The opportunities are endless!
Choosing a School
Our staff and local representatives will work with you to consider
a number of different options for your child. You’ll need to consider
not only their academic ambitions, but also their favorite activities,
sports they would like to play, and whether they should live in a school
residence with other students or with a local host family.
Once you have narrowed down your search, you will be ready to select
your final shortlist of possible schools. You’ll then prepare a detailed
application. We’ll provide lots of help in making sure your child’s
profile is presented to best highlight their strongest attributes.
Via our Admissions Center in New York City, our American staff
will contact your selected schools and work on getting your child
accepted. They will speak personally with school representatives to
ensure they are aware of all the great attributes your child will bring
to the school!
We let you know as soon as we have a decision from your chosen
school. Once accepted, we’ll be there to help with all the details;
reserving accommodation, ordering uniforms, enrolling in a language
preparation program and understanding everything the school needs
your child to do before they arrive. We will also assist with your child’s
visa application and arrival paperwork.
Study Care insurance
To ensure your child’s maximum safety and protection, we offer the
most comprehensive insurance available. In addition to accident and
medical coverage, the policy also covers personal liability, personal
property, emergency dental care and flight delays.
9
When students arrive
Vacations and Holidays
To put your child’s mind at rest, when they first arrive we will
arrange for them to be met at the airport by either a representative
of the school, their host family or a Study Group representative.
During scheduled school vacations and holidays, Study Group assists
students by providing alternative housing with host families so that
your child is cared-for when school is not in session.
Regular contact and reports
Returning home
Every three months your childs school will prepare detailed progress
reports for you at home. These will include commentary about your
child’s academic progress at school, adaptation to their new campus
life, special distinctions received and anything else that will help you
know how your child is doing.
Although it may seem simple, returning home requires some
planning. Well before your departure date, we will contact your child
and their school to reconfirm departure plans, and will answer any
questions you and your child may have about returning home.
In case of Emergency
A member of our staff can always be reached 24 hours a day,
seven days a week at a toll-free number to provide all necessary
help and advice.
Visa assistance
Study Group will provide expert guidance to obtain a visa.
A complete package of information on how to coordinate your child’s
visa interview will be mailed to you along with the necessary visa
support documents.

Preparation Programs
Preparation for Academic Success
For the best chance of academic success, it is most important that your child have the appropriate English
language skills. Your child may need additional instruction to maintain their academic year progression.
For this situation, we recommend a fully integrated English language preparation program before full
immersion into mainstream academic study.
Our schools offer many levels of English support from short
refresher courses to ongoing additional classes. Most schools
will charge additional fees for these classes.
