ERA Scholarship
21 April 2016, Auditorium @ NTUC Centre
ERA, setting industry standards in being the 1st
Real Estate Agency to launch a new scholarship
initiative aimed at grooming potential talents. This
scholarship aims to support and encourage ERA’s
family of employees, salespersons and customers
to pursue further studies in local institutions.
This year scholarship was awarded to Mr Seow
Chze Kuan, who came from a humble family.
“Initially, I joined ERA as a salesperson to earn
and save for university school fees after National
Service. I also learnt inter-personal skills and
found satisfaction in helping others to find their
dream home.” he says. Mr Seow will further his
study in Real Estate at National University of
Singapore in August.

secret of getting ahead is getting started. It’s never too
late to start exercise and be a fitter you.” says Marcus
Chu, Chief Operating Officer and a running advocate.

Kavin Kuah
Leading the pack at ERA, the largest real estate company in Singapore, is
Kavin Kuah. Constantly driven, Kavin shares a recent story to highlight his
motivation. He reveals, “I advised a seller not to sell his property as it would
not solve his financial problems. Despite forgoing this potential transaction, it
gives me happiness as I have been useful and helpful to another person.”
He stresses the importance of being a consultant, more than just a real estate
agent. “A property agent's role is increasingly challenged with the onslaught of
new technologies and market fluctuations. However, there are sales
opportunities as well.” Kavin says. Citing the various trainings that the
company provides, he encourages ERA teammates to improve their
knowledge and stay relevant in the industry with continuous upgrading.
“Time passes and things change but our values must live on. You can make a
difference to others too.” He adds.
