July 2006 marks the 5th anniversary of DynaWinch
Industries Ltd., a 100% privately owned Canadian
company, and one of the largest single-source
manufacturers of truck-mounted wireline equipment
in North America.
In five short years, DynaWinch has achieved
remarkable growth, served a long list of satisfied
and loyal clients, and earned a solid reputation for
delivering a high quality and competitively priced
product line while offering outstanding service to
its clientele.
Early on, DynaWinch proved to be an industry
leader in providing custom-designed quality
products in a time-efficient manner. To serve its
first client, Ultraline Services Corporation, the
DynaWinch team opened and equipped a new
manufacturing plant and proceeded to build and
deliver a unit in only eight weeks. Ultraline remains
one of the company’s largest clients to this day.
Since then, DynaWinch has served, and continues
to serve, many other satisfied clients ranging from
small private operators with one or two trucks
to large fleet clients both in the domestic and
international markets.
Ownership Group
DynaWinch Industries Ltd. was created when a
group of industry experts pooled their combined
80 years of experience in the oilfield equipment
manufacturing industry to form one company
that would provide a full range of services. In
fact, DynaWinch’s management team holds the
distinction of having one of the most experienced
management team in the wireline equipment
manufacturing sector in Canada. Each member of
the ownership group is a working partner dedicated
to providing clients, both domestic and international,
with a quality product designed to meet each client’s
specific needs.

Facility
The Dynawinch Advantage
We develop, design and manufacture equipment
from start to finish in our modern 30,000 square
ft. facility located in Calgary, Alberta, the heart of
the Canadian oilfield industry. Our state-of-the-art
workplace is fully equipped with overhead cranes,
forming and fabrication equipment, industrial-size
paint booth and fenced yard.
While other companies may only manufacture parts
of a unit, DynaWinch manufactures complete units
starting with the original design through to building
our own products such as drums, drawworks
systems, control panels and hydraulic systems. This
complete service package provides a practical and
time-saving one-stop shop with personalized service
for clients, eliminating the need to deal with several
different companies to obtain a completed unit.
What’s New
Since our inception in 2001, DynaWinch has
experienced incredible growth as we’ve continued to
increase our product line to meet client demand for
specialized wireline service equipment. In 2004, our
company relocated to a larger modern manufacturing
facility and, having already outgrown this facility, we
will be expanding our manufacturing capacity at this
plant by another 40% by January 2007.

DynaWinch is active in Western Canada, providing
wireline equipment to clients operating in various
