Introduction
There are many iPhone applications for Christians; they range from simple
bible readers through verse lookup applications to those that will even
recommend bible verses oriented towards the way you're feeling at the
moment.
Finding applications suitable for you is surprisingly difficult - especially
when you consider how many there are! You will find many christian
applicatons if you simply search the appstore for keywords such as
'Bible', 'Christ', 'Jesus' or 'God', but you may not find the best christian
applications and you will find some entirely unsuitable ones! This is
because your keyword search will only provide results based on the
keywords submitted by the developer.
This guide has been written to help you choose the iPhone applications
most suited to you, your lifestyle and your level of commitment to Christ.
You may just want a handy pocket bible to browse through, read or study.
You may just want an application that can help you in those dark times
when all you really need is a little word from God to help lift your day. You
may even need an applicationm that can help you in theological studies or
simple bible study.

Application Types
Audiobooks
Audiobooks are spoken word books, read out for you so you may listen to
them whilst on the go; driving, on the train or taking a relaxing walk. Many
audio books are simply the Bible read aloud, but many are more specific
and may be daily scripture or even whole sermons.
Bibles
Bible iPhone applications are usually enire bibles in an easily readable
format. This is very handy because you always have your bible with you
when you need a little inspiration or just something to read on the train!
There are many versions of bible applications for the iphone, just as
there are many printed versions of the bible. Some are free, but some
require a small fee to cover license and production costs normally.
Games
There are a few christian and bible-related game applications for the
iphone. These can be just for fun or may be good for helping children
come to know God's love through Christ in a fun, enjoyable way!
Radio/Music
It is common knowledge that there are many Christian radio stations in
the world. Many of these have created iPhone applications to enable
Christians all over the world to enjoy Christian music where ever they
happen to be!

Those studying Theology, Christianity or the Bible may find many useful
