In 1952, J. Reese Phifer established Phifer Incorporated in Tuscaloosa,
Alabama (USA) as a weaver of aluminum insect screening. Today, the
company is the world’s largest producer of aluminum and fiberglass

enclosures, and Phifer’s No-See-Ums Screen is a tightly woven mesh designed to
control against very tiny insects. All three meshes are available in Silver Gray and

strength and durability and will not corrode even in coastal climates. The bright
