Now a spreader too!
K Body Clamps are now fitted with a swivel
foot pad that serves a dual function. It is
removable which allows a woodworker to
reverse the lower K Body jaw for use as a
spreader. It also functions as a levelling foot
to keep the K Body rail parallel to the work
surface. As an added benefit it serves as a
hanger on a workshop peg hook.
Nobody but Bessey has ever designed and built
a clamp that works like a K Body Clamp ...
NOBODY. The Bessey K Body is the original
parallel clamp, designed for woodworkers
who depend on accurate clamping every
time they use it. Look closely at the workings
of a K Body ...hardenedsteel, locking set screws,
steel guide rollers and steel
anchor pins. There are also
precision internal elements
that are not visible. Without
any of them, the K Body
would simply not stay
parallel. NO other clamp on
the market uses this system
to ensure parallelism.

Bessey UniKlamp
This is the "small cousin" of the K Body built
on a lighter frame. Although it does not have
the precision componentry for the accuracy
and precision of the K Body, it is nonetheless
a great little universal clamp/spreader for
benchtop projects. Exerts even pressure over
11 sq. in. of non-marring jaw surface.

Clamps are temporary devices for holding work pieces together while you are working
on them. They are not constructed nor intended for lifting, pulling, transporting or any
other abnormal use.
To guard against injury observe the following general safety rules: DO NOT use clamps
for lifting, pulling or transporting; beyond maximum allowable pressure that can be
applied by hand; in less than perfect condition or in incomplete condition; if improperly
positioned; in applications of excessive vibration or with insufficient pressure;
inadequate for a specific job or application (e.g. too light, too heavy or too few clamps);
in applications of expanding inner pressure which will cause the tool to become
overloaded; in applications of prolonged exposure to ambient temperatures exceeding
300°F (150° C) such as a closed oven.

"Nominal Clamping Pressure" as referred to in this catalog is the maximum
pressure/weight at which clamps can be operated. Maximum pressure/weight
indications are given for new clamps with pressure applied by hand, without the use
of a pipe or any other device. Clamping pressure decreases as opening is increased.

Timber Framing Clamp
Designed for the construction trades - a firm
hammer-blow to the striking surface drives
the penetrating spike into framing timber.
Flared depth-stop sets spike to appropriate
depth and it is also notched for easy removal
with claw hammer. The timber clamp features
drop-forged steel jaws, cold-drawn profiled
galvanized steel rail, high strength tommy bar

The Bessey Professional One Hand Edge
Clamp was engineered with the custom,
production woodworker in mind. The unique
compound screw mechanism, enables the
operator to simultaneously engage the top
and bottom pressure pads while applying
pressure to the front edge of a countertop.
All three pressure surfaces are advanced
with the turn of a single handle. The
cushioned pads firmly grip without
slipping or damaging the work surface. This
clamp has a maximum clamping pressure of
500 lbs. on thickness up to 2 1/8". The

Bessey Wood Handscrew Clamps - feature
a large diameter spindles for added strength
and durability. Spindles and swivel nuts are
made from cold drawn, carbon steel. Acme
thread for rapid operation and years of hard
use. Hardwood handles are over-sized for
comfort, extra torque and reinforced with
steel ferrules. The spiral pin used to secure
the handles to the spindle is easy to remove
for repair or replacement. Metal parts are
treated to resist rust. The jaws, made from
quality hard maple for a lifetime of use, are
oiled to resist glue.
