Hello, Dearborn Heights! As our summer reading program reaches its conclusion I would
like to thank the Friends of the Library for their sponsorship and continued support, and all
the volunteers that helped make the summer reading program vibrant again this year. The
libraries could not do it without your help! As the days get shorter and thoughts turn to
fall activities, we have made a few additions and improvements that we hope to make your
experience at the libraries more enjoyable. Early in August we should have improved Internet speed, stronger wireless nodes, patron usable scanners, and express computer stations
in both buildings. Also, if you visit Caroline Kennedy Library check out the sculpture in the
quiet study area by the windows. The theme is community can overcome! Thanks for your
continued support and see you at the library.
