Our Parks and Rec’ staff have jam-packed this guide full of activities and programs to both entertain and to keep us fit. From ‘Baby and Me Aquafit’, to our ‘55+’ swim classes, there’s something for everyone. Looking to try something new? Never skated before? Try one of the many noexperience-needed learn-to-skate programs. Our recreation centres, are your centres! Take advantage of what they have to offer. Orangeville also has many recreation areas you can use for free. The Skateboard Park, BMX Park, walking trails, two splash pads and outdoor rinks in the winter are just a few. This guide has information on these and many more. We have 32 parks, four indoor rinks, three pools, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, tennis courts so much to offer! 519-940-9092 / www.orangeville.ca New this year is our Rotary Club Splash Pad at Fendley Park. Looking towards the future, construction of our Lions Sport Park’s two multiuse soccer pitches is also set to begin. Another first for Orangeville, there will be ‘adult’ outside fitness equipment there and at our Kay Cee Gardens Park. Planning a party or family get together? Use one of our many rooms at Tony Rose or Alder. You can even book a room as a package for birthday swim or skate parties. This guide is also available online and can be downloaded to your phone. Program signup can be done online to save you time. Take advantage of all we offer. If you don’t see what you want, let us know! My goal as mayor is to work to provide you with the best possible experience using the Town’s parks, programs and facilities. If we don’t measure up, I want to know. Contact me anytime. I hope you enjoy this guide, and all your town has to offer!
