The Leap 100 Company List 2016
The Leap 100 Company List 2016 1 2 WELCOME TO THE LEAP 100 2016 For the second year running, Mishcon de Reya has teamed up with City A.M. and other partners to identify 100 of the most exciting, fast-growing companies in the UK. These firms operate at a range of scales and across many sectors. All are in the process of making the leap to the next level in terms of revenue. This stage of a company’s life is rich in real-life drama, with risks of setbacks and sudden lows as well as high rewards for those who make it to the other side. Throughout 2016, we will track the challenges and the hopes of this brave and economically vital group via regular polls, round tables and events, sharing the collective portrait that emerges. Mishcon de Reya and City A.M. were joined by experts from The Supper Club, Seven Hills and The Entrepreneurs Network to assemble this year’s The Leap 100 list. This is neither a ranked index nor an exhaustive selection of the country’s fastest-growing companies. These are however the firms, big and small, that we believe are worth watching. They are not all household names, but their stories have the potential to become much better known in the next few years. All the firms chosen have a recent history of rapid revenue growth and still show the ambition for more. We also looked for success in and commitment to achieving innovation, brand recognition and expansion into new markets. Respecting the human qualities that make a leap into the unknown possible, we sought firms with teams displaying leadership and tenacity on their journeys. We hope you enjoy the window they offer into the working life of some of Britain’s most ambitious companies. 3 INDEX Acturis 6 Adbrain 6 Affectv 7 Aframe 7 AnyJunk 8 Artesian 8 Asset Match 9 BAC (Briggs Automotive Company) 9 BBOXX 10 BookingBug 10 Brainlabs 11 Car Throttle 11 Cennox 12 Comtact 12 Conversocial 13 Cook 13 Cream 14 Darktrace 14 Darling Associates 15 DataIQ 15 David Phillips 16 Decoded 16 Deliveroo 17 Dot Net Solutions 17 DueDil 18 Eames Consulting Group 18 énergie 19 Fenton Whelan 19 Fever Tree 20 finnCap 20 Gift Universe 21 GoSquared 21 Growth Engineering 22 Hamilton Fraser 22 Headspace 23 HouseSimple.com 23 Isotrak 24 Jacada Travel 24 JDX Consulting 25 4 JNFX Joe & Seph’s JSA Services Knomo LaplandUK Leightons Opticians & Hearing Care LendInvest Leni Gas Cuba LiBGroup Linde Werdelin LMAX Exchange Longitude Research Lost My Name Love Moorish M Squared Lasers MarketInvoice Marlin Hawk Matrix APA (UK) MCCGLC MIRACL money.co.uk Movidiam Orega Pact Coffee Palace Capital plc PayAsUGym PCA Predict Phaidon International Pie Mapping Platform Black Playmob Prodigy Finance Property Partner PVL UK Ramsden International Rated People ResponseTap Results Through Digital SCM World Space Ape Games 25 26 26 27 27 28 28 29 29 30 30 31 31 32 32 33 33 34 34 35 35 36 36 37 37 38 38 39 39 40 40 41 41 42 42 43 43 44 44 45 Spektrix SyndicateRoom tails.com Talking Tables The Catalis Group The Clean Space The Moment Trimline triyoga UK Power Reserve UltraSoC Technologies Unilink Vibe Teacher Recruitment VIP Vivid Resourcing Woodsford Litigation Funding Workshare Wright Brothers YPlan Z Hotels ZappiStore 45 46 46 47 47 48 48 49 49 50 50 51 51 52 52 53 53 54 54 55 55 THE LEAP 100 COMPANY LIST 2016 On the following pages are the 100 firms selected to take part in The Leap 100 2016.
