Digital Alphanumeric Display to Pinpoint Caller ID
Ring Communications’ internal emergency elevator communication systems offer the most technically
advanced, dependable and easy to operate systems available. Ring’s crystal clear voice reproduction
and DIGITAL ANNUNCIATOR DISPLAY (DAD104) offer precise caller ID for instant-access
communications. When a call is placed from an elevator car, each call location can be programmed
with one of seven priority levels. The Ring-Master DAD104 display automatically prioritizes the calls in
queue in the manner in which you program the system, The DAD104 offers 4 rows of 32-character alphanumeric information to display the identification required to pinpoint a location during an emergency.
Ring Communications’ elevator emergency communication systems are ADA compliant and meet

Emergency Phone Line Concentrator Eliminates Multiple Dedicated Phone Lines
The VIKING LC-6 line concentrator saves money by pooling up to six emergency phones onto a
single outbound line. Once an emergency call is initiated by an emergency phone, calls from other
emergency phones are bridged into the conversation with no volume loss. The LC-6 can also be
used for interior building communications between six emergency phones and a Fire Floor Phone,
Machine Room, or Lobby Phone. When used for interior communications, the LC-6 allows the six
emergency phones to communicate with up to three other phones within the building. And, a call
initiated by an emergency phone can dial internally, externally, or both.
The LC-6 automatically answers inbound calls and gives emergency responders the option to comFor more information:

The Liberator
When it comes to putting a new phone in an old elevator, nothing surpasses The Liberator. It surfacemounts with two screws and has a depth of one inch. That’s right, one inch, so you can mount it
anywhere. When you order a line-powered model, you’ll only need to connect it to your phone line.
All of our AC powered phones meet the latest line-monitoring codes. The Liberator is so simple in design and operation, it’s actually chic. It has a call button, a call light,
and an ADA Braille plate. The speaker and microphone are concealed behind a virtually indestructible brushed stainless steel housing (also available in bronze). The Liberator comes with a 3-year
warranty and free tech-support, which means you’ll have a co-worker for all installation and maintenance issues. And, the Liberator, like all of our products, is proudly made in the USA. Ready to be liberated?

What if your elevator could tell you what it is doing?
The QarVision™ Elevator Performance Analyzer lets you troubleshoot elevators wirelessly from anywhere. It records details of every trip (24/7) and analyzes what the elevator is actually DOING, not
what the controller tells it. E-mail summaries, notifications, and alarms keep you informed. It is
proven to save time, reduce callbacks, enhance safety, and eliminate the “Running on Arrival”
problem.
QarVision™ is independent of the elevator and its controller, enabling its use on any equipment,
regardless of age or brand. No modifications to the elevator are needed. QarVision™ can run unattended for years making it ideal for identifying persistent, intermittent problems. You can see
exactly what happened when you were not there.
QarVision™ uses WiFi to communicate with the technician on site. For longer range service, an
optional cellular or DSL connection enables you to run QarVision™ over the Internet. Our wireless For more information:

DNA934P Four Number Off Premise Dialer
Ring Communications, Inc has the most advanced, self-monitoring, fully integrated, easy to use
elevator intercom system in the world. Our newest Product, the DNA934P off-premise dialer, combined with our central exchange RM5000EX, can be programmed with up to four telephone numbers. If a busy signal or ring-no-answer is encountered, the next number is automatically dialed
until the call is answered. When the call is answered, a recorded message is played providing address of the building, and the intercom number that placed the call. In the event part of the information was not received, this information can be repeated by pressing the number 2 button. To
answer the call, simply dial the number 1 button and a conversation can start.

LV-1K Line Verification Panel Meets Latest Code Requirements for Daily Testing and Failure Notification.
ASME code (A17.1) requires the daily testing of each “two-way communications means within the
(elevator) car” to verify operability of the telephone line and to alert building authorities in the event
of any communications failure. The LV-1K can be used as a stand-alone solution to test for actual
dial tone on a single new or existing VIKING 1600A Series emergency phone. Or, the LV-1K can be
used in conjunction with the VIKING LC-6 Line Concentrator to test for dial tone on up to six VIKING
emergency phones. In addition to testing for dial tone, the LV-1K also monitors a single line and any
attached analog station or telephone for talk battery voltage.
If the LV-1K detects either talk battery voltage fault (indicating a cut line or disconnected phone),
or the loss of dial tone, it immediately provides an audible signal every 30-secs. and flashes a red For more information:

VIKING Emergency Phones Offer Proven Reliability
VIKING 1600A Series emergency phones not only provide the most features, but with a successful
25-year track record, they’re the most reliable phones you can buy. In fact, installers routinely tell us they
choose VIKING emergency phones when they’re called to replace our competitor’s products.
VIKING’s 1600A Series phones are available in a variety of colors and styles, including surface and flush
mount. Each 1600A phone can dial up to five phone numbers, as well as two central station numbers.
Every 1600A Series phone can deliver a digital voice announcement to identify the location of the
emergency call. Or it can generate a DTMF Touch Tone to identify the calling location. When connecting
to a Central Station, VIKING phones communicate location information via widely used protocols.
All 1600A Series phones are phone line powered, eliminating the need for batteries or external power
sources. For outdoor installations where the unit is exposed to precipitation or condensation, choose our For more information:
proprietary Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) models. EWP products feature thermal plastic potted VIKING Electronics
circuit boards, sealed connections, foam gaskets and boots, and internally sealed trim pots and DIP switches. (715) 386-8861

Janus launches the LMA Panel. The Line Monitoring Alert Panel helps you meet 2009 and 2010
ASME code that requires audible and visual signal at the designated landing in the event of phone
line failure. When used with our EMS phones that have the phone line monitoring option the LMA
unit completes this system. If more than one elevator phone needs to be linked to the LMA panel,
a LMX (Line Monitoring Expansion) unit can be mounted in the machine room, which will allow up
to ten elevator phones to be connected to the LMA panel.
The LMA panel is 5” wide by 10.5” high and is labeled with the wording, “ELEVATOR COMMUNICATION
FAILURE”. An audible and illuminated visual signal sound and light up when the phone indicates
that the phone line has failed. The audible signal can be reset with provided key switch but the
illuminated visual signal must stay on until the phone line is restored. If the phone line is not fixed For more information about
in the appropriate amount of time the audible signal will sound again until the phone line is this or any product that Janus
restored.

You’ve got too much riding on your elevators than to rely on outdated technology. And why chance it on some one
size fits all “cookie cutter” intercom system, that you know just won’t cut it? What you need goes far beyond the four
walls of your elevator. RING Communications offers the most technologically advanced, most reliable, and easy to
use internal communications and security systems in the world. RING Communications has systems for a single elevator, a bank of elevators, or an entire building complex teeming with elevators. All offer RING’s modular design for
maximum flexibility, easy maintenance, and seemingly endless expandability. RING’s cutting edge technology allows
us to take full advantage of existing resources saving you installation costs that would be better spent on communication and security features, rather than just running wires. The point is
that “the same old, same old” way of thinking about elevator intercoms, and
how they tie into your facilities operation simply won’t get you to where you
want to be. An elevator’s intercom system should never be a problem. It
should be a solution. RING Communications is jam packed with solutions.
