Since 1997 Edition Dino Simonett invents, creates, produces and distributes sophisticated
art books in splendid beauty, bookbags and accessoires and horsehair matrasses. The books
are conceived in close collaboration with the artists, authors and designers, the bags, the
accessoires and the horsehair products in collaboration with the craftsmen. All products
are made in Switzerland in small editions, many of them by hand and they are shipped in all
parts of the world. We are happy to present you in this catalogue a universe of books and
objects that we created ourselves because we didn’t find them anywhere else. We would like
to purchase them all ourselves but we love to share them with you.

Kunstbücher, Büchertaschen und Rosshaarmatratzen. Die Bücher werden in Zusammenarbeit
mit den Künstlern, Autoren und Designern entwickelt; die Taschen, Accessoires und
Rosshaarprodukte in Zusammenarbeit mit den Handwerkern. Sämtliche Produkte sind in
kleinen Auflagen in der Schweiz hergestellt und werden in alle Welt geschickt. Wir sind
glücklich, Ihnen visuelle Universen und Objekte anzubieten, die wir kreiert haben, weil wir sie
sonst nirgendwo gefunden haben. Wir würden am liebsten alles selber kaufen und behalten,

Depuis 1997 l’Edition Dino Simonett invente, crée, produit et distribue des beaux livres, sacs
à livres et matelas de crin de cheval. Les livres sont développés en collaboration avec les
artistes, les auteurs et les créateurs; les sacs, accessoires et produits de crin de cheval
en collaboration avec les artisans. Tout les produits sont fabriqués en petits tirages en Suisse
et peuvent être envoyés dans le monde entier. Nous avons le plaisir de vous proposer des
univers visuels et des objets que nous avons crées nous-même, parce que nous ne les avons
trouvés nulle part. A défault de pouvoir tous les acheter nous même, nous sommes heureux
de les partager avec vous.

Each bag is hand-crafted in Switzerland, made in the middle of Zürich by
John Riverman. Some of the bags are in stock, but we prefer to create your

tenth of a Hermès bag for a bag of very close to Hermès quality „Lucky You“

Simonett Bookbags Our all time classic is the regular MoMaBookbag,
it has the perfect proportions. The BIGbag and the SMALLbag are
available too: in goatskin, leather, horseskin, snakeskin and even
crocodile. Then we invented the TILDAbag. While visiting us in Zürich,
Tilda Swinton received too many presents and needed a bag to carry
them. And last but not least the Olgiati-Rucksack, an invention by

sie es auf einer 100% Rosshaarmatratze schlafen

sandte meine Mama die Flachskörner irgendwo ins Bernbiet
und erhielt so gegen Weihnachten
vier rohleinerne Küchentücher –
früh übt sich, wer mit Leinen zu tun
haben will.

Kinderparty, Sirup her! In der Weinberg-Pergola in
Zillis haben sich ein paar schöne Polster
versammelt, zwei grosse Würfel schauen zu. Die
Füllung besteht aus 100% gestepptem Rosshaar
und einer feinen Schicht Schafwolle, damit es nicht
piekst. In Rohleinen und Baumwolle und auch in
Leder erhältlich.
Patricia Highsmith lesen auf einem SimonettPolster, man spürt seinen Körper nicht mehr und
kann hemmungslos abtauchen in das gute Buch. Die
Polster können auch mit einem Kokoskern bestell
werden, sie sind dann etwas härter und robuster.
Neu sind jetzt auch Polster mit Überzug in
gewobenem Rosshar erhältlich. Das extrem
scheuerfeste Material wird uns alle
überleben, ist dreck- und staubabstossend.
An Schönheit kaum zu überbieten. Nicht
ganz billig, wie der Volksmund zu sagen
pflegt, aber daran werden unsere Enkel
noch ihre Freude haben.
Simonett Polster und Sitzkissen in Rosshaar Die Rosshaare
werden von unserem Partner, der Toggenburger AG in Marthalen /
ZH, in aufwändigem Verfahren gesponnen, gezwirnt und aufgezupft
und dann vom Polsterer Kurz in Winterthur angefertigt; eine
140 cm breite Matratze z. B. braucht ca. 22 Stunden Handarbeit.
Für Grösse, Art, Ausstattung und Überzug wird jeder individuelle
Wunsch berücksichtigt. Nebst Matratzen produzieren wir
Sitzpolster für Haus und Garten sowie Kissen, Nackenrollen und
