Garb-el’s GHV models were specifically developed for food processors and wholesale food packaging companies where
waste accumulation and elimination present a problem. These heavy-duty units are available in 7 ½, 10 and 20
horsepower models to meet your waste requirements at a rate of up to 10,000 lbs/hour. GHV models can either be
connected to the sanitary waste line or to a holding tank.

Model Description
Model GHV-750 is equipped with a 7½ horsepower/208, 230 or 460 volt/3 phase/60 hertz premium energy
efficient grinder motor, either a 115 or 230 volt single phase feed auger drive motor, variable time delay,
energy saving flow interlock valve, Nema 4 watertight electrical control enclosure, Nema 4 watertight
on/off/emergency stop push button controls, stainless steel hopper body, steel filter screen, stainless steel
adjustable legs with flanged feet, fixed hammermill pulverizer, stainless steel chute attachment, and protective
stainless steel cabinet enclosure. The machine ships pre-wired and pre-plumbed (for easy and economical
installation), crated with a standard one-year warranty.
Models GHV-1000 and GHV-2000 are equipped with either a 10 or 20 horsepower/208, 230 or 460 volt/3
phase/60 hertz premium energy efficient TEFC grinder motor, either a 1/3 horsepower (GHV-1000) or 1
horsepower (GHV-2000) TEFC heavy duty wash down variable speed gear motor with watertight digital
inverter (allows for adjustable speed of feed auger), variable time delay, energy saving flow interlock valve,
Nema 4 watertight electrical starter enclosure, Nema 4 watertight on/off/emergency stop push button controls
(either machine or wall mounted controls), stainless steel hopper body, stainless steel chute attachment,
stainless steel protective cabinet enclosure, steel filter screen, fixed hammermill pulverizer with moisture
resistant bearings and adjustable stainless steel threaded rod legs with stainless steel flanged feet. The
machines ship pre-wired and pre-plumbed (for easy and economical installation), crated with a standard oneyear warranty.
