performers have met here for a
week of Lied singing.
Benjamin Appl has been hailed by
“Gramophone“ magazine as “the
front-runner in the new
generation of Lied singers,” while
Samuel Hasselhorn is praised by
“Crescendo“ for his “imposing
stage presence and moments of
pure musicality.” In the past couple of years, both baritones have
swept the major awards for emerging Lied singing talent and are
