On behalf of Syncrude, I want to take this opportunity to wish you a warm
welcome and thank-you for joining us on Project Olympus. Our vision for this
Turnaround is for all personnel involved, Syncrude employees are Contractor

an outstanding, positive environment for all, in which we meet our objectives in
Safety, Reliability, Cost and Schedule. The entire Turnaround Leadership Team
wants this turnaround to be the safest, most productive and most personally
fulfilling turnaround that you have ever participated in.
I personally believe we will produce outstanding results by being committed to
the project goals and all by all team members working together in removing
barriers that may impact our performance. The highest priority of the Turnaround
Leadership Team is to create an environment that results in an incident and

Busing Etiquette
Coaches and Site Service Buses are running on a Schedule. A constant flow of buses will be arriving at
pick up and drop off locations throughout shift change times at all loading zones on site and offsite.
A few things to keep in mind while riding the transportation services provided and upon arrival at MLV:
In General:
Seatbelts must be worn at all times.
ID badges must be worn at all times and be visible to the bus driver.
Buses will depart only at their scheduled times. Please do not ask the driver to depart early.
Verbal abuse or any abusive behavior toward bus drivers or fellow passengers will not be
tolerated.
Buses will only stop at specified stops.
Do not request your driver to take alternate routes or to by-pass traffic situations.
Hold on to railings and refrain from cell phone use while disembarking the bus.
Lost and Found can be contacted at 780-790-5094
Proper Bus Etiquette:
Please avoid the use of cell phones. If necessary please put ringer on vibrate and be considerate
of other passengers
Please change out of dirty work clothes prior to boarding the bus
Please remove as much mud as possible from shoes prior to boarding the bus
Respectfully request your driver to adjust the heat or air conditioning when necessary
Keep seats in upright position while other passengers are getting on and off the bus - put seat
back gently as not to injure passenger seated behind you - return seat to upright position before
disembarking
Please use overhead compartment or space under the seat for bags and personal objects

Safety Tips while On Site:
After disembarking the bus walk to the nearest corner or walkway prior to crossing the street
