ZIP KIT FOR THE V-ROD®
DynoGraph for V-Rod Zip Kit
While the V-Rod® is the most powerful Harley®
ever produced, there’s always room for more! Our Zip
Kit is designed to let the V-Rod® breathe more freely, with
nice power gains made from outside of the engine. This kit
un-restricts the intake with a high flow K&N air filter element
and free breathing, machined aluminum oversize velocity
stacks. The factory throttle body is precisely machined to
58mm (5mm increase over stock) for impressive airflow gains
to the engine.
When used in conjunction with a performance exhaust
system and an EFI trim device, the Zip Kit is capable of
producing 115+ rear wheel horsepower!

Dyno tuning on a load-control dyno required for best
results. These kits are available from any Zipper’s
Performance Products dealer, or you can send your carefully
packed throttle body directly to Zipper’s. Carefully remove
the throttle body (leave IAC and TPS installed; remove air
box stud and intake rubber boots). Your original part is
modified and returned to you, ready for installation. Slight

ZIPPER’S ‘STREET ROD’ 1320cc KIT FOR THE V-ROD®
Bigger is Better, Right? Then you’ll love the power
of our 1320cc ‘Street Rod’ big bore kit for the V-Rod®.
This kit boosts displacement by nearly 17% via a bore size
increase from 3.938” to 4.250”. The ‘Street Rod’ kit includes
new cylinder ‘wet’ liners with multi-layer gaskets, a set of the
latest technology Wiseco 12:1 forged pistons, Z-Rod street
performance cams, Zipper’s 58mm throttle body conversion,
billet velocity intakes and a high flow K&N air filter assembly.
Requires very precise machining of the case and water jackets
for the big bore liners (machining by Zipper’s included in the
kit cost). Once this work is done, it assembles like a stocker.
The ‘Street Rod’ kit really steps up the torque output of this
higher-revving engine platform. If you miss that big roll-on
torque your air cooled Harley® has, the ‘Street Rod’ kit brings
a lot of it back to the table. When used in conjunction with a
performance exhaust system and an EFI trim device, the ‘Street
Rod’ kit is capable of producing 120+ rear wheel horsepower,
with a big increase in useable torque!

This is our most popular V-Rod® kit, designed for serious
street/strip warriors. Excellent design provides superb power
throughout the entire RPM range, with excellent durability. The ‘Hot
Rod’ kit includes new 4.250” ‘wet’ cylinder liners sized with the latest
technology Wiseco 12:1 reverse-dome forged pistons. Requires
very precise machining of the case and water jackets for the big
bore liners (machining by Zipper’s included in the kit cost). Once
this work is done, it assembles like a stocker. The heads receive our
beautiful CNC port work with oversize stainless steel valves for
maximum flow and are assembled with a high performance spring
kit with titanium collars.
Perched atop these powerful heads are a set of Z-Rod Race
Grind cams; to ensure the heads perform to their potential, the
throttle body is enlarged from 53 to 58mm and fitted with billet high
velocity intake stacks that breathe freely through an oversize K&N
air filter assembly.
The ‘Hot Rod’ kit can deliver over 130 horsepower to the
ground through a smoking rear tire, with torque peaking at
approximately 100 ft/lbs. Whether it’s Power Cruising on Saturday
night or burning up the strip on Sunday, your ‘Hot Rod’ will be King
of the V-Rods®!

Our most popular V-Rod® kit gets an additional
1/4"” of stroke for an increase to 1450cc! Our very
powerful ‘Hot Rod’ kit gets its displacement boost with the
addition of a stroker crankshaft and Carrillo rods (choose
from a modified factory crankshaft or an all-new full circle
billet steel crankshaft). The ‘Hot Rod 1450’ kit includes new

ZIPPER’S ‘RACE ROD’ 1320cc KIT FOR THE V-ROD®
This kit is primarily designed for drag racing. Uses
same basic components as our ‘Hot Rod’ kit but with
higher compression ratio, designed to be used with
racing gas. The ‘Race Rod’ kit includes new 4.250” ‘wet’
cylinder liners sized with the latest technology Wiseco 13.8:1
flat-top radially gas-ported forged pistons and special thinner
head gaskets. Requires very precise machining of the case
and water jackets for the big bore liners (machining by
Zipper’s included in the kit cost). The heads receive our
beautiful CNC port work with oversize stainless steel valves
for maximum flow and are assembled with a high
performance spring kit with titanium collars.
Perched atop these powerful heads are a set of Z-Rod
Race Grind cams; to ensure the heads perform to their

ZIPPER’S STROKER ‘RACE ROD’ 1450/1550cc KITS

These Bog Bore/Stroker kits are designed for drag
racing. Uses same basic components as our 1320cc ‘Race
Rod’ kit but includes a +1/4” (1450cc) or +1/2""” (1550cc) full
circle, billet steel stroker crankshaft. Carrillo steel connecting
rods (or optional titanium) are included. The ‘Race Rod’ kit
includes new 4.250” ‘wet’ cylinder liners sized with the latest
technology Wiseco radially gas-ported forged pistons and
special thinner head gaskets. Requires very precise
machining of the case and water jackets for the big bore
liners; _” stroker kits require relocation of the piston cooling
jets and counterbalancer removal (case machining by Zipper’s
included in the kit cost). The heads receive our beautiful CNC
port work with oversize stainless steel valves for maximum
flow and are assembled with a high performance spring kit
with titanium collars.
