Notes for happy bookmarking:
1. Hair dryers do not produce enough heat to melt the
embossing powders.
2. After students pour the embossing powders onto
their stamped designs, some need help putting the
remaining powder back into the containers.
3. Having labeled paper mats for each scent helps
prevent powder mixing.
4. Some students held the heat gun too close to their
designs. This burns the powder.
5. While this isn’t exactly a passive activity, it does not
require that much supervision at the high school level.
6. Some web sites suggest using unscented embossing
powder with sugar free Kool-Aid and/or Jello. I did not
have good results with this.
