Harvest Fest

alive for the 14th Annual Legend of Sleepy Howell with
witches and goblins in the free trick-or-treating event. Games,
costume contests, rides, prizes, live music, food, and vendors.

Horseman 5k/10k is ready to get everyone in the Halloween
spirit. Runners are encouraged to get into character and dress
up for this costumed run. Races will start and finish near State
Street.

Customer Appreciation Day is Sunday, September 11 with
free entertainment and discounts. Established in 1920, Erwin
Orchards is a family tradition for thousands each season.
Everyone loves the wagon ride out to hand pick apples and
pumpkins. U-pick red and yellow raspberries are available
throughout fall until a frost. You’ll love the famous apple spice
and pumpkin donuts, caramel apples, Queen’s apple sundae,
and cider slush. Kid’s activities include free hay maze, petting
and feeding Nigerian Dwarf goats, tricycle trail, daytime corn
maze, and Halloween attractions. Our very popular nighttime
haunts include The Barn of Horrors and Corn Stalkers Maze.
Group tours are offered for all ages, including those with special
needs. Visit our new attraction, Zombie Paintball Arcade.
September 17. The hearse show is open to all makes and
models, regardless of their condition. Show off your rides
and enjoy the day with like-minded enthusiasts.

Non-haunted corn maze open September 17 thru October,
Friday, 6-11pm, Saturday, 1-11pm, Sunday, 1-6pm. Bounce
house, train rides, and black tube slide available for the
youngsters. This maze is separate from the October haunted
activities. Haunts open Friday and Saturday evenings in

year’s mascot, Wapi the Beaver. Proceeds benefit Wildlife
Rehabilitation and Education, which treats over 2,300
injured and orphaned wild animals every year.

activities with the family. Tour the farm and view traditional
demonstrations, visit with food and craft vendors, be
entertained by Rosco the Clown, and more. Take a hayride
to and from the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin.
Most activities are free with a park pass. Standard public
hayride rates apply.

During the month of October, public rides are offered
Saturdays and Sundays, noon-4pm and weekdays, 10am-2pm,
reservations are not needed. Enjoy hayrides to and from the
pumpkin patch to select the perfect Jack-O-Lantern. Pumpkins
and gourds are grown in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes,
and are priced according to size.

are a member of the Michigan Cider Makers Guild, this grist
mill’s cider is held to exceptional standards. This wonderful Michigan historical landmark is one of the last remaining
water powered grist mills in the state. Guests will enjoy browsing in their gift shop or taking a nature walk along the North

on the scare, you will want to venture into this stimulating
two-story haunted manor. Different thrills in every room
