Maintains daily cleanliness and maintenance. Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, or griddles. Clean, stock, and restock workstations. Requires flexibility Ice-cream scooper/Busser: Work at ice-cream station, scoop the icecream, sell items, fill drinks, operate cash register, clean area/clean tables, serve customers, work in kitchen/help prepare daily food items Take orders, both in person and over the phone. Entering orders in POS system, operate cash register, take payments, Requires flexibility Students have to be prepared for high and low business operations and work as many as possible hours during high peak business and expect low hours during the slow weeks! Overtime rate (after 40 hours per week) is 13.50/HR • Busser: $5.50 per regular hour + tips shared or $9.00 as minimum wage. Ice-cream scooper: $8.00 per regular hour + tips shared or $9.00 as minimum wage AVERAGE # OF HOURS • 32-35 average hours for the whole program (not guaranteed) per week (After orientation, training & achievement of satisfactory performance). Some students work lot of hours during the busy weeks, which depends on student’s performance and work ethic PAYCHECK FREQUENCY • Paychecks paid weekly MEAL DISCOUNT • Yes (during work shift) No TRANSPORTATION TO WORK • Housing is close to work site UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS • GROOMING CODE • REASONABLE EXPECTATION • T-shirt is provided for fee, if damaged fees apply.
