President’s Corner
Are You Ready for Some BOWLING? On behalf of the Officers
of the MNBL, I would like to welcome back our returning
bowlers, and extend a warm welcome to our new bowlers,

joining us tonight for the start of our 39 season!
We hope you all had a wonderful summer, and are as excited as
we are about this season. We encourage all bowlers to
communicate issues, concerns and suggestions to us. A form
will be provided each week for this purpose. You can submit
this anonymously, or if you want a response from the Officers
please provide your contact information. Put completed forms
in the weekly dues envelope. We look forward to working with
our team captains and with all of you to make this the best
season ever!
Dues
This season the registration fee and weekly bowling fee will be
$18. This is due to an increase by Boston Bowl the past two
years. Please keep in mind that the MNBL has the lowest
weekly rate of any of the leagues at Boston Bowl, and we plan
to continue to offer the usual amenities (i.e. bowler gifts and
trophies, prize nights, our annual holiday and year-end
banquets, the ever popular pizza parties hosted by Boston
Bowl) plus a few new surprises throughout the season for all
registered bowlers. As in the past, the registration fee is applied
to the final week of bowling when no fees are collected.
Discounts for pre-paying bowling fees for the upcoming season
are as follows:

If you choose to prepay either the full season or first half, the
deadline to do so is Monday, September 26, 2013. Please make
checks payable to Monday Night Bowling League. If you choose
to pay week-to-week, $36 is due tonight which includes the
registration fee and first week’s dues. After tonight the weekly
fee will be $18.
As a convenience to our bowlers we will accept credit card
payments, especially nice if you earn air miles for purchases!
Unfortunately we have to pass on the cost of this service and
will add 2.75% to the total. For the full year the amount to be
charged will be $536.00, and for the first half the amount that
will be charged is $287.00.
