DENMARK
MC Touring Club
Motorcycle camping in Denmark - FEMA members get the first night free of
charge.
As you may know MCTC is the owner of a camp for motorcyclist only, called MC
Touring Camp.
Motorcyclists who are a member of a National Organisation belonging to
the Federation of European Motorcyclists Associations (FEMA)
and can present a membership card from their organisation can spend the
first night at MC Touring Camp free of charge, provided they bring their own

Please note that members have to be able to show a membership card for each person, who can stay the first night
for free.
MC Touring Camp is located at the small village Nodager southeast of Kolind between Arhus and Grenaa in Jutland,
Denmark. Only 25 kilometres from ferry connections to/from Sweden and the island of Sjaelland (Sealand), and about
45 kilometres from Arhus and Randers.
The camp has just been partly rebuilt and renovated with bigger bar, toilet and bathing facilities. At the site you will
also find a small swimming pool, cooking facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer. In the bar you can buy
breakfast, hot meals, snacks, ice cream, beer, soft drinks and wine at reasonable prices.
It costs 40 Danish kroner (app. 5,5 euro) pr. person pr. night to stay at the camp. Small cabins at reasonable prices
are also available (advance booking strongly recommended).
MC Touring Camp is open every day in May, June, July and August. From Easter to 1st May and during September
the camp is open Friday-Sunday. All touring motorcyclists are welcome at the touring camp. Cars are not allowed at
the camp.

I would like to inform you that we have recently taken on the proprietorship of The
Six Hills Hotel based on the A46 central to Leicester, Nottingham, Melton and
Loughborough. We are a large multi functional establishment that offers a variety
of guestrooms, all en suite.
All our rooms are en suite and we offer colour televisions, complimentary tea and coffee along with toiletries in each of
our guest rooms. We also offer a family room that is equipped to sleep two adult and a small child. Should a family
with more than one child wish to stay then we are more than happy to equip the room to suit. There is a night porter in
attendance, giving the flexibility of a late check-in or early check-out to suit each of our guests.
We have an extensive CCTV controlled car park that is free to all our guests. Our car park is monitored 24 hours per
day and therefore a safe environment for those guests on motorbikes.
We also offer the in-house bar and restaurant serving a selection of speciality beverages along with our chefs range
of speciality fine foods to traditional home cooked foods.
Should you require accommodation for those attending the race days at Mallory, we are more than happy to agree a
rate exclusive to yourselves. We can offer a rate of £60 per double or twin room inclusive of breakfast for two people
per night (Please quote Mallory Park when booking). Our usual rate is £75 inclusive of breakfast.
We are a biker friendly establishment. We are the home of one of the biggest bike nights in the UK, which is held
every Tuesday evening.

If you are coming to sail on the Reservoir go to the Airport or maybe take your exams at the ground School in
Cheddar even the BMX trails that are held ½ mile up the road from us at Broadway House Cheddar.
Bristol Airport is 9 miles from us you can even leave your car here with secure parking.
If you enjoy walking or cycling Cheddar and the surrounding area is the perfect venue.
Please note we only except assistance dogs, but are suitable for wheelchair users with limited walking.
We do offer breakfast continental style in the conservatory at an extra cost but children under 5 eat free.

in 5 converted barns on their traditional, working Cornish family farm, coupled
with the opportunity to sample the ‘classic bike experience’. Cottages vary in
size, catering for parties of all sizes from 2 to 16 people.
Situated in North Cornwall, between Launceston and Bude, Waterloo Farm
provides an ideal touring base for the coasts and moors of both Devon and

the small village of Reminiac which has a shop, restaurant and 2 bars.
Located in the heart of the Breton countryside close to the legendary forest of Broceliande, full of Celtic & Arthurian
myths, but only a short ride from 4 towns with all amenities. Surrounded by wonderful biking roads, and only just over
an hours ride from the ferry port of St Malo and within 3 1/2 hours of Caen, Cherbourg and Le Havre making us ideal
for short breaks as well as longer stays.
Accommodation:
All rooms are doubles or twins priced at £36 or 50 Euros for one night and £32 or 45 Euros per night for two or more,
including continental breakfasts. Evening snacks are 5 Euros and evening meals are 15 Euros if requested.

Come and spend some time in our lovely bed and
breakfast.
The house is situated near a small village called La
Brulatte, 15 minutes from Laval, 40 minutes from Rennes;
Paris is 2 hours and an hour to Le Mans.
Ferry ports are St Malo 74 miles and Cherbourg 130 miles. Very easy to find and a good starting point for the day’s
trip.
Easy to explore all that the Mayenne, Normandy and Brittany can offer. Like the Normandy landings, Mont St Michel
or the rugged pink granite coast of northern Brittany, using either country lanes, national roads or the fast motorways.
What about a day or two in the fast lane of Le Mans or shopping in Paris, the train station is only 3 miles away at Port
Brillet.
We have 3 double/twin rooms, 2 family room and more beds and cots if required. We like to think ourselves as a good
base for touring holidays, with Garmin GPS available for hire for that stress- and map-free holiday. Mountain bikes are
also available for hire. We are very biker friendly with a Honda ST1300 parked in the garage.
We have enough space for another ten bikes under cover, and a drying room for wet clothes. Large indoor heated
swimming pool, 36’ x 18’ and nearly 10’ deep. Heated to a constant 28°c, which is wonderful to dive into after an
enjoyable ride or drive.
Prices start at 50 euros per room with 2 sharing which includes Continental breakfast, or start your day with a Full
English breakfast for 6 euros extra. Special prices for groups.
We can offer a 10% discount to members who book as a group for 3 or more nights and 3 plus rooms.

A large house, converted to an English Bed and Breakfast, in the PyreneesOrientale region of the Languedoc Roussillon in France, Near Perpignan.

stopover if you are en-route to Spain.

single bed), with shared facilities.

All of our 11 bedrooms are decorated to the highest quality, (none of your MFI rubbish here mate) and include fresh
bed linen, towels and shampoo (and hairdryers in the double rooms). This is one of the few places where campers
and hotel guests can be accommodated on the same site so large parties are definitely welcome.
We have double rooms with full en suite facilities (50€ per room) or single rooms with shared shower and toilets (35€
per room), continental breakfast is included at any time to suit yourselves. (You can even have an eggy-weg with
soldiers if the chickens have been productive). Campers have their own showers and toilets. Our aim is to treat our
Bike Riders as the first class citizens they are.
You can party in our 'no rules' bar to your hearts content, (last one out makes the breakfast).
We have a jet wash if you want to get your machine clean, and if you break down on the way we can come and get
you in the white tranny. Forget the stars, we don't have any, no doormen or receptionists either. (although a nice
receptionist in a French Maids uniform would be nice, any volunteers?)

We have recently had a number of visitors who are keen motorcyclists.
They have toured various areas of France over recent years and have
commented on how well situated this area is both for touring and as a stop off
point for riders travelling down through France towards the Pyrenees and into
Spain.
It occurred to us that members of MAG might like to hear a little about the area and the facilities we have to offer.
We are situated 3 km off the RN141, the main east-west route in this region and are 10 mins ride from the towns of St
Junien and Chabanis and 25 mins from Limoges.
Three years ago we set up a small B&B offering two rooms, one double and one twin, both with en-suite facilities and
their own independent entrances. We are open all year round and serve breakfast to our guest’s room or in our
landscaped gardens in summer.
In addition to the room facilities our guests are welcome to enjoy the gardens, our swimming pool and walks (or rides)
along the country roads nearby.
We have secure undercover parking facilities and can also provide packed lunches on request.
The Charente region of South-West France is known for its picturesque towns and villages with numerous
Restaurants, Cafes and Bars, its scenery and a great road system. There has been a huge investment in establishing
many Leisure lakes, which offer swimming, fishing, and boating and picnic areas.
Our property is located close to the Chateau of Rochebrune at the start of the route taken by Richard the Lionheart on
what was to be his final adventure and we are 2 km from the Gallo-Romain baths at Chassenon.
Our room rates are 50 euros per night from May to September and 45 euros for the remainder of the year (prices
include breakfast).

The Park of Bracciano and Martignano is something else, beside sport, it is inside a vast area full of archlogical and
artistic places (Castello di Bracciano, Cerveteri Etruscan, San Liberato sanctuary, Trevignano Museum, etc.)
For those who simply want to enjoy nature: the Birds of Prey Trainig Centre in Rocca Romana, the tour of the lake in
a moder boat, the rich presence of muschrooms, native orchids, chestnut, birds, are a special attraction for naturalists.
It's possible moreover to organize guided visits in the city of Rome.
Festivals, craftsmanship and Brocantage markets,often gladdened by fire-works, are occasion of relaxation and
amusement. Last but not least we must remember the automobile race track of Vallelunga, near Trevignano Romano.
The Bed and Breakfast LE DUE QUERCE, two kilometers from the centre of Trevignano Romano, lies on the northner
shore of the lake Sabatio, on the Strada Provinciale Settevene Est, N°36.
The B&B offers, both inside and outside the house, wide spaces, at our guests disposal to ensure a serene and

The E111 form is no longer valid.
You will need a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) to receive necessary healthcare during a
visit to a European Economic Area (EEA) country or Switzerland.
What does the EHIC cover?
The EHIC is normally valid for three to five years and covers any medical treatment that becomes
necessary during your trip, because of either illness or an accident.
